Comment: It’s ok for us to be sidekicks to white folks and be the listening ear to their dribble about how miserable they are. It’s ok for us to sing love songs that white folks fall in love to and screw each other to. It’s ok for us to be in the background while they take center stage because the world revolves around them. I love Jenny and I hope in the movie she’s allowed to have a love interest and be more than just a fkn assistant. This is why I support black independent films that will tell OUR stories with US as the CENTER not YT. I wish Jenny well – I LOVE her spirit. She will go far.

Comment: I loved the show, but have to admit the only thing black on the show was the night as my father likes to say when he's railing against network TV and its lack of black folks in starring roles. Anyhoo, I still plan to see the movie this weekend. I wish Jen the best and was glad the SATC producers and even SJP conceded to add a little bit of flavor to the movie.

Comment: That is quite ironic BBR, on point as always. Still and all she is getting jobs in top notch projects. Hopefully, she is being positioned for lead rolls in the same type of top flight movies. She had to start somewhere and where she started wasn't bad at all. Just ask those struggling Black artists who are still trying to get their big break. She is doing quite well as a new artist.
