Comment: This is the most intelligent commentary regarding what is happening in this election that I have read thus far. "You go girl!" to coin a phrase. We as Black American seem to be afraid to speak out and say we are proud to be black but as we can see, white people are never afraid to let you know how proud they are to be white. White people are never afraid to play the "race card" when it benefits them but God forbid we mention our race. Hillary has been playing the race card and the gender card for months and we have let her get away with it but now she and her supporters have gone too far and our black leaders in the CBC and DNC need to do something...NOW! --BigMik's wife, Star

Comment: 'No, this is about fear related to the unresolved racial tension between Black and white America'. They are really in fear of a black nation and are under the misguided notion that even a white woman is better to run this country than an equally qualified more trustworhy more stable black man. Reports are beginning to circulate that ole bill is up to his lewinsky tricks on the campaign trail. If that's true it's finally time for sillary to do what she should have done a long time ago - go home and take her husband with her if she has any hope of growing old with him. As for amerikkka apologizing for slavery - I don't want their apology I want the monetary equivalent of my great grandparents 40 acres and a mule plus the years of interest. After that white amerikkka can bite me.

Comment: As for youth not being encouraged to participate in the cbc or dnc - that definitely has to change. Keeping members around too long stagnates any group - the naacp comes to mind. We've got to involve ourselves in their process to ensure that it is infused with new blood regularly. We too often and too willingly sit back and allow our representatives to languish in office whether they are effective or not. Of late several of them have turned out to be criminals - thieves and philanderers. We've got to do better and be more active - they need to know that it matters not to us that white folks won't vote for Obama or any other black person - that we just won't be stopped!

Comment: "am I expected to just turn the other cheek and continue on in a Party that is fine having Blacks as members, but divided on whether or not we’re capable of serving as leaders?" In short, yes, that's exactly what you're expected to...and this makes a great case for why Blacks should defect from the Democratic party and exercise their independent muscle. Too much of the Dem party is like the Clintons: "feed them a little and they won't stray too far. After all, THEY need us!" lol This article reminded me of how the late Maynard Jackson got SHAFTED by Bill Clinton in 2000, and the LOSER Terry McAuliffe was chosen as DNC chair instead. The Demos went on to lose both the White House and Congress for the next six years--when McAullife was replaced. Just what they deserved for treating that accomplished Black man like a peon in favor of a buffoon. Anywho, this article was on-point.

Comment: TGen because some states don't allow independents to vote in the primary is the reason why a lot of us continue with what we already know - the democratic party!

Comment: That statement of "indadequate black man" was made by a %*$!ed off white Hillary supporter. There are plenty %*$!ed off black Hillary supporters too ie CRENEEJ.. (no disrespect CREENEE, just making a point). People are %*$!ed that their candidate is losing. History will be made with either Hillary or Obama winning the presidency for the obvious reasons and I can understand the passion behind the campaigns. I said if Hillary won I wouldn't vote for her. I think I would come to my senses before the election as I expect the Hillary supporters will a month or 2 from now when the campaign dies down and focus goes to McCain. I'm not gonna bash Hillary supporters because all aren't redneck racists. We all knew what BO was up against and certain Appalachian states have not disappointed us with their behavior. What we didn't know was how vicious, low down and devisive Hillary would become when she started to smell LOSS. better we learn now than when she's leader of the free world...we need to get this man elected and stop focusing on this already in the past bullsh*t. I'm brushing my shoulders off like BO did in North Carolina after the Pennsylvania primary. KEEP IT MOVING AND LETS FOCUS ON THE REAL PRIZE..

This is the best article I've EVER read penned by you! As one of the poster wrote: YT fears the black nation. Hillary should have been checked by the CBC months ago! Again, great piece!
