BUT...if any given person in said neighborhood or state can read it AND be inspired to change...It's ALL good in da hood. I'm looking forward to his story...cause man oh man...back in the day..Chic and other Nile's collaborations fueled my disco (that's what we called them)nights!!!

Comment: Chic came to Jacksonville on my twentieth birthday; they have been one of my very favorite bands beforethen, and ever since. I cried when I heard Bernard Edwards died. I have bought each of the first three albums multiple times...PEACE.

Comment: I hated Disco music. But I loved "Chic". To me "Chic" was far more innovative than Disco. To pigeon hole them in the category of Disco is a miscarriage of justice. "Chic" was so stylish. The sisters was the bomb.
Alfa Anderson and Tawatha Anderson could sing like no other. Matter of fact before Luther Vandross blew up to be a superstar. Luther sung background vocals for them also.

Comment: My mistake I mispronouced her name. I believe her name was Tawatha Aghee. I'm still mis-spelling her last name. Someone out there who may have their album. Help a brother out here. (lol) But any way, the sisters was the bomb. I look forward to this book also. Nile Rodgers was one hellava producer.
