Comment: I think he just did not want to be on the red carpet for another flop. Too bad he left Gabby holding the bag.

Comment: Looking at the previews of the 3 movies coming out this weekend, Hellboy, The Mummy and Dave, this looks like the weakest by far. Norbit's release date costs him an Oscar, somebody should have done thier homework and moved the release date when there we're no other "stronger" movies going to be released. It's going to flop but at least it could have had a better opening without stronger competition. Some of you are wondering "how can I say that even before the movie comes out", well, just wait and see.

Comment: He must have had a premonition that the movie is going to bomb. Folks are tired of his foolishness. He needs to go drama like Robin Williams or sit down.

Comment: Big10, I agree with you, and it's okay to say this movie will be a flop before it came out. If the trailers and t.v. previews of a film are not good (which is supposed to be a string of the best shots of a movie), then the whole movie must be trash. Gabby has made a string of bad choices too, but that's the life of a Black actress in Hollwyweird unfortunately.

Comment: Also, Gabby said his kids were always on the set. Well I can't think of one little girl of his that wasn't.

Comment: Sorry, I meant to say I CAN think of one girl who wasn't there. Eddie should be one Black man that takes a hard listen to the speech Obama made about our responsibilities to our children.

Comment: I tend to agree about this movie. And I think Beverly Hills Cop 4 is gonna be as ridiculous as the 3rd one - I couldn't even watch it when it came on cable. I just saw clips here and there. It was just too stupid to sit down and watch. BUT, I don't think his career is a wrap. He said on the Today Show that he was going to do movies until he's 50 (in 2 years) and then he's going to get back to the stage. That will do it for me. I was too young to go see "Delirious" or "Raw" but I'll buy a ticket to see him do stand up now. Believe that. He hasn't lost his gift.

Comment: There was a special on the Bio channel last night about Eddie's movies. Clips were shown from some of Ed's movies that I skipped (just about everything after Boomerang) and now I actually wanna watch 'em! Anywho, they spoke of his returning to stand-up in the future. I'll be first in line to get tickets! GINGERG, I'd like to see him do s'more drama too. Correct me if I'm wrong but Dreamgirls was his first stab at it and it got him an Oscar nod. Somethin' for Ed to think about.
