Comment: I guess Barack Obama DOES care about black people! Obama 08!

Comment: I hope there is a 7-second delay with Kanye. We don't need know 'hot-mike' moments with that one. carry on.

Name: Ky901
Comment: I AGREE!!! I was thinking the same thing.... I sure hope Kanye does not say anything to become a backlash in the media (as usual).

Comment: Yeah I'm concerned about Kanye getting up there and going on one of his ego trips, either boasting loudly about himself or outwardly expressing his feelings about getting slighted somehow, like maybe he wouldn't get as many minutes on the stage as somebody else. I could see him saying "Obama got more minutes to do his thang than I did. I deserve to be on stage more than anybody." Then somebody comes back "Sir, Barack Obama is the Democratic Nominee." Kanye: "I don';t care man...don't you know who I am...I am the best in the game...I'm a superstar...I should be on stage more...I'm leaving...and George Bush don't care nothin' 'bout Black people."

Comment: Ditto to all comments above regarding Kanye and his massive (and completely unjustified) ego! Didn't Obama and his handlers learn ANYTHING from the very recent incident with Bernie Mac? Does Obama WANT to spend more time apologizing for dumb stuff? Who the hell is making these dumb%*$ decisions?! I hope this isn't indicative of how the Obama presidency will be. Sigh.... just stupid!

Comment: well dayum, you can't please everybody, but still, i don't know about Kanye. maybe the Convention Committee chose him because of the young voters, i don't know, but i'm with KROB, i hope Kanye won't say or do anything stupid to embarras the Convention or Barack. but shoot, they should have gotten Earth Wind and Fire or somebody. i'd even go with Elton John.

Comment: Also, why is N.E.R.D. on the bill? They are irrelevant. And Pharell's sound is starting to get played out like Teddy Riley's music has done.

Comment: Glad 2 see that N.E.R.D. is on the bill. Got all 3 of their CD's in my collection. I kinda like how they stay under the radar and r not played every 5 minutes. Add Wyclef and Ye and this is a good concert and everybody will have a good time.

Comment: He is awesome, He is so funny at "tallkiss.com", I saw his blog there. He really has a sence of humour.

Comment: B O had better be careful with any selection at his Demo Convention... W T don't like us in large groups. Seriously though, this is the chance for some of the performers to really show us that they have good sense and that it's not all about cash, big chains, swagging, etc.
