Comment: Jesse is such a foolish elder. What a phony. And Jamie Masada is Jewish. So here he is collecting money from Blacks who use the N-word against and about themselves. I bet they rarely, if ever, even utter the word "kike." We are in such a pitiful state. The money he collects goes to the Museum of Tolerance -- isn't that a Jewish museum? Just amazing how we denigrate and dehumanize ourselves and someone else makes off with the profits.

Comment: IF JJ pays a "fine" it should be in the form of a donation to the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial planned for DC . . . . . think of it as being money contributed to a "swear jar" that gets used for a good purpose . . . . . . btw, GETREEL, what "rule" are you talking about? and be clear/specific about its origin and enforcement

Comment: This has got to be the dumbest bull…I have heard today. How in the heck are you going to charge somebody for saying something you banned on YOUR stage when they are not on YOUR stage….Sorry but that is ridiculous? Second, why in the heck would a BLACKMAN give money to the Museum of Tolerance, which I have been to. It’s is mainly a Holocaust memorial, with two small exhibitions at the ground floor and at the top concerning Black oppression. I would pay him shyt and Jesse better not either.

Comment: Olivia: The man is just trying to make a point. He knows just like you and I know that JJ will NEVER pay that fine. Jesse feels it's his job to point out when others cross the line and hound them mercilessly in the press. But let the tabes be turned? Oh H3LL Naw! Just like that case of thouse Lacroix (sp?) players being falsely accused of raping that Black stripper. JJ & Sharpton hounded those boys (as well they SHOULD), but when it became clear the whole case was B.S. neither one of them had the character to apologize to the boys. Why? Because they both think they are THE GREAT BLACK LEADERS. They can't be wrong and no one should ever question them. It's time for both of them to call it a day and sit down and let people that aren't stuck in the sixties handle things.

Comment: Okay... why are some people acting like Jessie Jackson intentionally used the N-word in the public arena? He didn't know that his comment was going to be heard by all of America. In my opinion, that is not the same thing as someone going up on stage and using the word. Heck... I tell my neices and nephews not to say "shut up" all the time, but sometimes I still find myself saying it. Maybe I should fine myself. LOL

Comment: I co-sign with Olivia. Masada needs to STFU. Jesse wasn't in the Laugh Factory when he used the "N" word. Masada is just trying to get HIS 15 minutes of fame! Jesse will NEVER live this down (and shouldn't), but Masada REALLY needs to just STFU.

Comment: Yes, Masada needs to STFU! I bet he sits around laughing and using the N-word himself he's out of earshot of blacks. Look where Dog Chapman is...back in the spotlight. I always wondered why Jerry Lewis wasn't raked over the coals when he used "faggot" in a "hot" mike during that telethon.

Comment: jboy....Sharpton never hounded those boys, nor did he got NC. Whoopi made the mistake saying this on the view. Sharpton sent her a letter and he responded by saying no apology would be required since he had never taken a position on the Duke rape case and had turned down invitations to travel there all he ever said was let the DA do his job and don’t destroy the character of the girl BEFORE the D.A finished his investigation.
People assume Al has done things he has NOT. Here’s Whoopi reading his letter on the View.
Watch….. http://www.breitbart.tv/html/6604.html...... He didn’t owe them an analogy because he did do anything or say anything against them. Whoopi admitted she got it wrong.
...As the Laugh Factory the owner is full of it. This man is always at the center of some nonsense including the Michael Jackson pedophile case. He needs to go run his comedy club and shut the hell up.

Comment: OK, we've dealt with it. So did Whoopi. Because it was the Rev JJ who made those vile statements, it made it worse. But, don't let this cause us to miss the real issue here. Our election. Hopefully that latest tyrade from Rev JJ will be his last. Its time for JJ to go quietly into the night, because he has become the worse kind of racist. You hate your own kind for no reason other than the fact that they told the truth, and you didn't like it. Rev JJ you got mad because he told black fathers to stand up and be counted for their families. Um Jessie, how's Ashley doing?

Comment: >MsVanese... is does matter if you are trying to make the man pay a fine for it. He didn't intentionally say what he said on the news for all of America to hear, it was meant to be a private conversation. I am an advocate for my neices and nephews not using profanity, but get me mad enough I might use a choice word here or there. I am an advocate for them not telling each other to shut up and calling each other names, but occasionally I might call someone a jabroni or tell them to shut up. People mess up, people make mistakes, and people aren't always good examples. Until I am able to cross every I and dot every T, I am not goimg to go on him.

I just wish before you guys clown Jesse or Al for their efforts, you would remember how important they were to our civil liberties. Especially Jesse. I don't think that I've ever seen any of you marching and dealing with death threats etc., etc. If the guy at the laugh factory really wants the use of the word to stop, he should fire anyone who uses the word period. Me I like to use curse words. It's a part of my upbringing.

Comment: I think Masada is crazy to think that JJ should pay a fine because JJ ain't a comic and didn't say the word at his club, but JJ got caught saying a word he tried to ban and publicly buried and Masada, just like everybody else, has a right to criticize JJ's hypocrisy...JJ is an old warrior of the game and should know better than to say anything derogatory about anybody within a damn network studio. Comment: Rainbow PUSH conference seeks ‘A More Perfect Union’ ------------
Rev. Jackson’s historic presidential bid will be celebrated -------------
CHICAGO (June 6, 2008) – The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the Citizen Education Fund will host their 2008 annual conference, themed “A More Perfect Union – From Freedom to Equality: Equanomics,” June 28 to July 2 at the Hyatt McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Chicago.
This year’s conference has extra significance as this presidential election year marks the 20th anniversary of Rev. Jackson’s historic 1988 run for the presidency of the United States. His 1984 and 1988 campaigns were the first serious bids by an African-American man for the nation’s highest office [from the Rainbow/PUSH website: http://www.rainbowpush.org/FMPro?-db=RPOfrontpage06.fp 5&-format=rainbowpush/frontpage06/results.htm&-lay=fro nt&constant=1&-find]

Comment: In celebration of this anniversary, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition will host Reunion Day on Saturday, June 28. The event, which will be at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition headquarters at 930 E. 50th St., Chicago, will bring together many politicians, political organizers, campaign workers, ministers, educators, students, factory workers, journalists and supporters who worked on the 1984 and 1988 campaigns.
“On this day, we will reach back as far as we can go,” Rev. Jackson said as he and Rainbow PUSH Coalition officials looked forward to seeing some of the old political warriors, whom he describes as the “roots” of the movement.
“Most of today's young politicians don't know these people,” he said. “Many of them who started with us are aging and they are not here, but their children and their political offspring are active.”

Comment: Khufu...unfortunately, we'll never know will we; however, because of the potential loss of revenue and external pressure, Masada instituted the fine. The question should be -- Do I think Masada would have instituted the n-word policy if Richards' act hadn't been videotaped? No, I don't.

Hell, it's Laugh Factory policy. If your question is in reference to Michael Richards, read my previous response to you.

Comment: I think people are failing to see the irony of the request for fine money.
Messy Jesse tried to "bury" the "N word". There was an outright funeral for it. Casket and all. Now the same person that was in on the "funeral for the N word" is caught using the word.
This would be akin to a repeat offender drunk driver working for MADD or a current molester working for the Girl Scouts Organization. The actual thing that you most abhor is actually a part of you.
Jesse the word that you so "abhor/hate/can't stand/want to bury - is actually a part of you.
Teach us well...and follow by example.
The fine is not the issue - it's the principle of the matter.
