Comment: stellababy5: I grew up and still live in the burbs' and seeing people speedwalk is fairly common. Well, it used to be. I don't see it as often these days however, it was the norm for some folks (usually white people) who didn't want to walk for exercise... and didn't want to jog either. They did what they felt was in-between the two I guess. In the hood however, that walk I am sure would be interpretted differently I suppose.
