Comment: I said here when I first found out that Toni had to cancel her gig in Vegas that I had pericarditis last year and thought I was gonna die! Toni's condition is chronic and why she keeps pushin' it is beyond me. While there is as much of a chance of me having it again at some point there is more of a chance that next time Toni won't be so lucky. I'm glad she's up and moving around I pray she has realized her limits.

Comment: This is not really related to the article, but I just want to offer some free advice to this lady: Get new management ASAP. Someone who once had such a promising career, has been searching for relevance for years now, and this "Dancing with the Stars" biz falls into that category. At one time, she was considered "classy." For some reason, she chose to push the "sexy" thing too far and found herself in trollop land, trying too hard to do something that at one time seemed natural for her (and for goodness sake, get rid of the weave, the short haircut was your staple. Any good pr person would have told you that, geez.) At any rate, I think it's kind-of sad to see her fall from up and coming "superstar" to has-been. Get new people to handle your biz, girl, asap!

Babyface and them did have a reputation for using their artists (it was a long time before TLC had any money, even after the phenomenal success of their first album), but Toni perhaps pushed for too big of an upgrade in her contract. And you're right, she's been flailing ever since. And her husband threw away his gig (with Mint Condition) as well. But they seem to love each other, so they should be able to persevere. Plus houses, even the 3000+ sq foot ones, are pretty cheap in Atlanta.
