Comment: From the sound of it, LisaRaye is attempting to garner sympathy by "playing" the victim. If she knew she was banned from the house, she had no business going over there. Of course she can allege that he shoved her, or pushed her, or even bit her - but there's no proof of that. Furthermore, he's right and she's wrong ~ because she had no business in the main house. She was wrong to force her way into the house. As logical-thinking adults, we should always look for the truth between the 2 stories, and hers simply doesn't make sense. Imagine George Bush throwing Laura Bush out of the White House - she would be wrong to force her way back in. This is a similar situation, because this man is a government official. LisaRaye is luck his security detail didn't shoot her, after all, she was an intruder. She holds no claim to the house. Even in America, if a person (husband or wife) is kicked out of the house - you can't go back until the court tells you that you can. I simply have trouble believing she's the total victim in all of this.

Comment: Despite being a tad concerned about Lisaraye and Misick getting married after a few months of dating, especially with him being linked to Omorosa at the same time, I was really happy for her, the pictures of their wedding in Ebony were fairy-tale like. A part of me really hoped they’d make it. Just goes to show everything that glitters ain’t gold cos the drama that follows this man is on a whole nother level.

Comment: Last year my company attended an event at a Carribean embassy, I got talking to this guy, as he was trying to explain where his Island was located, he mentioned it was near Turks and Caicos, I was like 'oh Turks that’s where the premier is Micheal Misick and his wife Lisaraye'. He was like ‘oh u know them?’, I was like no I've seen his wife on TV several times. So the guy was like Micheal is his boy and showed me his number in his phone and offered to introduce me personally. Dude was serious and everything, I was like nah that’s cool. Then it kinda dawned on me that him and Misick must be picking up women on the low, cos why else will he offer to introduce a stranger to his newly married friend. Personally I think Misick has been stepping out on Lisaraye since forever!!

but I reckon he manhandled her and will try to deny it. Not too long ago he beat up a guy at the airport who was investigating him for being an absentee Premier. He was taking pictures of Misick arriving in a private jet, Misick rushed towards him bodyguards in tow n' punched him in the stomach several times, when Misick was questioned about it, he said he thought the guy had a firearm (it was actually a camera). Now if someone wants to harm you will you run in harms way and start giving that
person a beatdown??? I think not!! Misick is crazy and there's bout to be some serious drama up in Turks.

Comment: I don't know what "America" you live in, but a husband (or wife) can't just kick the wife (or husband) out of the house. It doesn't matter who's name the house is in or who pays all the bills, that person has established residency and there are legal proceedings that one must take to have that person LEGALLY removed. It's funny how this man has been accused of all types of wrongdoing and the first thing people do is blame the wife. Now I don't know what LisaRaye does down there on that island...but nothing has been reported while on the other had The Premier has been all up and through the news! In Diary of a Mad black woman, for example, all she had to do was call the police and he would have to let her stay there, irrespective of any pre-nup arrangement.

Since the Island is owned by the English these folks probably told this man to "take out the trash" and THAT is why she is upset. Also, "First Lady" is still technically her job description. It is her job to carry herself as such, especially when the powers that be did not feel she was suitable to begin with. For some reason, most people don’t realize how much protection they are afforded under the law. I’m not now in a position to give specifics in the case speak of TCI, but I would imagine that it would be similar to America. No man has the right to put a woman on the streets “becauseican”, married or not. I would imagine that even Rocsi would have the right to stay in that residence until she had a court ordered eviction, at least in America, she would. If you do an internet search on the topic, you will find case after case of people stymied by law in their effort to “put someone out” where previously they thought it was a case of “becauseican.” For example, if you get drunk and take home someone, and then decide to kick her out the house the next morning, all she has to do is call the police. If he can establish that she slept there for one night, then you will then find yourself being given instructions by the police for the court house having jurisdiction for filling an eviction notice, usually at least 30 days.

It was clear to me that the statement wasn't so much about the "umm" as it was her total presentation: the attitude, the repetition, the loss for words, the mention of the word "rape" without the presence of "alleged". That is where I come up with "let field". She was uneducated, etc. and his wife was a nurse at a hospital in a town about an hour away. Well, she got pregnant and had someone drive her to that particular hospital to give birth to her son. She paid for it, though. She suffered from poor health, financial problems and eventually wound up losing her home.
On top of that, the husband stayed with his wife and didn't pay child support.

Comment: I guess Premier of TCI is like being principle of a high school...you head things up, make sure everything is running OK and whatnot. And your boss is the larger school district on up to the state. So he's a principle and the state, in this case, is England, as that chain of islands is a part of what's left of the so-called British empire. It has a population of 31,000 (about half the size of the suburb I live in; so LisaRaye would have a similar reign if she moved to my suburb and we declared her to be queen of half of it) and a total land area that you could trace out in your car in less than an hour's drive. Anyway, given that TCI is a part of England, the divorce will fall under English law, which of course is what American law is based on, so LisaRaye will get something (assuming they can find all the money he's supposedly embezzled).

And the only reason we know about this beatdown is because they BOTH elected to publish statements about its occurence, which IMO was a big mistake on both their parts. Comment: Honestly, I think what shulamite is saying and agree that the high road is the best way to have handled this. Many people would have reacted the same way that LisaRaye is said to have reacted. No question. LisaRaye is even "justified" in acting that way, because it's a common emotional response to your spouse cheating on your marital bed. But there ARE people who counsel folks in that situation to cool it off and work it out pragmatically. Personally, a family member of mine was in a similar situation with her husband. And I did counsel her to cool it off and let the legal system work this out, because no good will come out of both of y'all in jail... two children and all. It wasn't perfect and it didn't give outlet to the rage, but it was peaceable and she will ultimately get her due (she's already put him in jail for some of what he did). So I don't see shulamite's comments as being so unreal. Her point that the house doesn't belong to either LisaRay or Misick is very true. That's the "state's" house. It belongs to the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands. She may have a "right" to be in there (morally and perhaps legally), but it ain't HER house. Her confrontation with her husband is "understandable," but being in a foreign country, it's not "adviseable." Small as that island is, that man has access and control of the police and whatever military might be there. So one should approach any "ride or die" situation with a bit more caution than doing the "ride or die" in Baltimore. The islands ain't the U.S. And if that was shulamite's point, it wasn't lost on me. I was born in the islands... a former British colony now an independent nation. And understanding that "context" and it's difference from the United States is important. What goes on in these islands within their governments is NOT the same as the U.S. And Shulamite's take on how one deals with a Premier/head of that state is spot on. It ain't the same "get my girls together and ride on that mofo." That's a separate country and you're dealing with the head of state who has the ability to order you silenced, possibly killed, jailed, etc. So good advice and advisors would have counseled her to cool her jets and handle this business-like.

One day she's fighting, then the next day she's releasing statements from her hospital bed while recovering from bite marks, and by the weekend she's supposedly unconscious. If this proves to be true, you can't help but wonder why her condition "suddenly" changed. Were her injuries more serious than initially reported? Did someone do "something" to her in the hospital? And, did she really prepare that statement or did someone else do it on her behalf? The whole situation just doesn't make sense. If folks are giving false reports, they need to stop. None of this is anything to take lightly.
