Comment: I think any female other than Hillary Clinton would doom Obama's campaign. Like it or not, she had a gigantic following and most of them are still pizzzed off.. Another female would create a rage in her following that would secure John McCain as the next president. Obama needs a white man or Colin Powell, and I think Colin is outta the question because of his ties to both Bush's and the Clintons..

Comment: Doesn't he know the Kennedys aren't trying to get that close to the Presidency. If that's the case Ted would've run long time ago. Caroline is probably thinking I'm doing fine right where I am. I don't think we'll ever see another Kennedy in the White House...but who knows what the future holds.

Comment: This is a silly idea, but I did want to point out something I think Moore had a good point on: "Senators Biden and Bayh voted for that invasion and that war, the war Barack ran against...to place either of these senators on the ticket would be a huge blow...He will undercut one of the strongest advantages he has over the Hundred-Year War senator, Mr. McCain. By anointing a VP who did what McCain did in throwing us into this war, Mr. Obama will lose the moral high ground in the debates." It looks like Obama will unfortunately choose someone who voted for the illegal invasion of Iraq, but I'm glad Moore picked up on that point, all of us have not forgotten. Some of us still remember how the lying Bush adm (along with Colin Powell, DrKnow) sold this ish to the country and how cowardice appeasers like Clinton, Biden, et al stood by and let them do it. I for one have not forgotten...

Comment: Moore is on to something. I thought the same thing. If Obama picks Biden, or anyone of those other men he'll lose. SOrry I don't want Hillary but without her HE WILL LOSE. Lately Obama's been flip flopping more than a pancake. He needs to get grounded and seriously consider his running mate.

Comment: Caroline's last name is symbolic but wouldn't add much to Obama's ticket. I think Biden is Obama's best choice. He strengthens Obama in areas where he is perceived as weak (foreign policy experience and the ability to stand up to the Republican machine). Oh well, can't wait to receive my email on Saturday to see who the eventual VP nom will be.

Comment: Mike, you CANNOT be serious.... I'm going to keep it real. This is the FIRST presidential race where the VP pick really, REALLY matters. If McCain wins, he could die while in office. So for those who plan to vote for McCain, they need to keep this in mind and be very comfortable with his VP. If Obama wins, he is more likely than any President in history to be azzazzinated while in office. So those of us who plan to vote for Obama need to be REALLY comfortable with his VP. I do NOT feel comfortable with the thought of Caroline running the countrty. All she has is the Kennedy name. There is nothing else about her, in my opinion, that qualifies her to be President.

A recent poll showed that of the 13% of voters that are undecided, half are leaning to Hillary. Assuming a 50/50 split with the remainder, then Hillary could possibly have the support of 75% of undecided voters. Also, 11% of Hillary supporters are either undecided or leaning to McCain.

Comment: Bad_Kitty, Colin Powell helped orchestrate one of the biggest okey-dokes in history, sat up in front of the United Nations and lied through his damn teeth, so the US could invade a sovreign nation that posed no threat. And you think he deserves the White House? Hmmm

Comment: Rappers and entertainers could also make a big difference if they go about it the right way. A recent poll showed that Obama had a 55/38 percent lead over McCain in the 18 to 34 age group. If rappers and entertainers would just cut out any Obama or even Democrat reference, but rather encourage their young audience to register to vote, then the rest would be history. That goes for you too Oprah, leave the man name out of your mouth.

Comment: Reuters/Zogby national poll Shows McCain Takes 5-Point Lead Over Obama. 44 percent of voters polled backed McCain; 39 percent backed Obama. John Zogby: "What’s happened, number one, young people, liberals, a solid core of Obama’s base just raising some questions about him. For liberals, maybe the perception that he’s flip-flopped on some key issues like FISA….” http://www.democracynow.org/2008/8/21/headlines#5 No, I’m not going to say I told you so.
