Comment: Obama: "We're not going to be bullied, we're not going to be smeared, we're not going to be lied about. I don't believe in coming in second,".....You sure have a strange way of showing it, allowing yourself to be bullied by a byeetch without even fighting back, considering all the ammunition you have in your arsenal: Bridge to nowhere supporter before flipping, Jack Abramoff connections, more earmarked pork barrel money than any other state, Alaska cessation booster, book banner, 527 of indicted Ted Stephen director, attended church blaming Israel for terrorism directed against Jews on their non acceptance of Christ, using official powers to exact revenge against brother in law……. And what’s up with Oprah not wanting to interview Palin. Is something missing from this story or is it just me. Why wouldn't Oprah leap at the opportunity to expose this byeetch for the fraud she is?

Comment: Reds, co-sign. Gallup shows a 10 point lead for McCain today. Either Obama has a game-changer, or... On Oprah, your misconception is exactly what a lot of the msm wanted. The reality is Oprah said she would not have any candidate on in political season. She has not had Obama on since he announced he was running, same for all the others. That is a non-story that unfortunately Oprah was pulled into, and will probably hurt her in the end. White people are something else...

Comment: TGen: “The reality is Oprah said she would not have any candidate on in political season.”……Yeah, I heard that was Oprah’s policy, but since they are making it look like she is just hating on Palin, give them what they want. Next time, they will be more careful what they ask for.

Comment: TGen, I just saw the Gallup polls and McCain is only up by 3points...48% to 45%....see for yourself.. http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx... just 3points with all the hoolah about Palin....NOT 10.. and just like Obama was polite to Hillary and still won.. I can't see why he should change with Palin.. kill them with kindest Obama... and take notes.. those polls do not reflect people of color...

Name: yasmine1
Comment: and for CNN polls of polls Obama is still ahead by 1% as of today 8th Sept

Comment: Thank you Yasmine1. These naysayers(with their incorrect information) are really starting to get on my nerves...

Comment: oh Obama's interview on OReilly was excellent.. even Oreilly had to give him his props.. with an aritcle Oreilly wrote after the interview...

Comment: yasmine1: “TGen, I just saw the Gallup polls and McCain is only up by 3points...48% to 45%”.......Can I make a suggestion. Take some time to learn how the Gallup polling is done. They usually explain that what is presently posted on their website is the average of questionnaires conducted over the past three days. That simply means that the 48/45 is more a reflection of two or three days ago. So let’s see what they have, say on Wednesday. I’m sure it will show McCain much further ahead.

Comment: i just got this email about sarah palen looking like a hoochie mama in a mini skirt and her daugther holding a bottle of whiskey with her tounge hanging out. interesting pics.

Comment: Don't trip on the polls, especially Gallup. They already had to admit to manipulating the numbers a few months back. Don't trust them.

Comment: Reds///Maybe because Oprah said that she would not have any Pres or VP on her show. And before you say that she had Obama on this was before O announced his run for the office, he has not been on the show since. Oh and polls are not that accurate since a lot of PPL under 40 don't have landlines but rely on their cell phones. The pollsters don't call cell phones.... I am curious who do you plan to vote for?

Comment: Gov. Sarah Palin made her first significant gaffe during her time on the national scene while discussing the developments of the perilous housing market this past weekend.... Speaking before voters in Colorado Springs, the Republican vice presidential nominee claimed that lending giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had "gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers." The companies, as McClatchy reported, "aren't taxpayer funded but operate as private companies. The takeover may result in a taxpayer bailout during reorganization."... Economists and analysts pounced on the misstatement, saying it demonstrated a lack of understanding about one of the key economic issues likely to face the next administration.... "You would like to think that someone who is going to be vice president and conceivable president would know what Fannie and Freddie do," said Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. "These are huge institutions and they are absolutely central to our country's mortgage debt. To not have a clue what they do doesn't speak well for her, I'd say."

Comment: America will be in serous trouble if McCain/Palin win. It will not matter if you are Black, White, Brown, Yellow, Repub, Independent, or Dem. We will all feel the pain.

Name: JGGIRL
Comment: It's this poll that is 10%: USAToday/Gallup: McCain 54%, Obama 44% among likely voters. Somewhere Sean Hannity is smiling and it makes me sick.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: JGGIRL....The key word is likely registered voters. You are aware that Obama has signed up a huge amout of new voter's? Again the USAToday Poll doesn't count them or cell phone users.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: SOULMUSIC>You so right, but the only way they will win is that they steal the presidency like they did in the last two elections.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: BUT IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN THIS TIME!!

Comment: Bigchassie: “sarah palen looking like a hoochie ….interesting pics.”…..Hope it’s not another Photoshop…… soulmusic101: “Maybe because Oprah said that she would not have any Pres or VP on her show. And before you say that she had Obama on this was before O announced his run for the office, he has not been on the show since.” ….I’m aware of Oprah’s policy on not interviewing politicians during the campaign, but as I responded to TGen, you got to be careful what you ask for. So Oprah should grant them their wish, but bring up the topics in the interview on her background that MSM won’t fully address….“I am curious who do you plan to vote for?”… If you really have a question as to which side I’m on at this point, I really don’t think that any answer I give you will make a difference….. BTW, don’t let the polls get you down people. It’s a vital information tool that let you know where you stand. It’s up to you what you do next. There is still two whole months for Obama to get his act/ads together and then there are also the debates.

Comment: jess ..you are right about the polls...tbey rarily poll minorities... and bigchassie.. you are fight.. they are in for a BIG surprise..while the media spouts on about the GOP.. the GOP have also reved up the Dems ...when Obama raised $10mil in one night during the GOP speeches.. that speaks volumes to me.. and notice the media ain't focusing ont that..the media want immediate ratings so they will blow up Palin..don't get fooled so easily....imagine I went into 2 stores this weekend and someone barried Palin's People mag cover under other magazines.. I found that very telling...

Comment: Assuming that the ten point lead is valid (I’m waiting until Gallup’s Wednesday result), then it really highlights how vulnerable those swing voters are. They went from a nine point Obama lead to a ten for McCain in a week?! If Obama targets them with the right ads, then anything is possible.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Reds...so according to your logic Oprah should reverse her decision. Thankfully I am aware of the "accuracy" of Polls, so it never gets me down....LOL... I see that you didn't watch ABC's "This Week With George S.", where Obama talked about the Lies and stupidity of McCain/Palin? Don't let it get you down that the Media won't go after McCain/Palin. That upcoming interview that Palin has with Charles Gibsom from ABC, will be a bunch of softball questions and a celebrity puff-piece. ABC is in the tank for the Repub Party.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Reds...judging from your recent posts you have a lot of faith in the Poll's.

Name: Reds
Comment: soulmusic101: “logic Oprah should reverse her decision.” …That’s the idea. The Repubs don’t play fair, so give them a taste of their own medicine. ..…” Obama talked about the Lies and stupidity of McCain/Palin?”… It is a well known fact to people in the know that Obama has a website dedicated to addressing Repubs lies and stupidity. But what about the majority out there who doesn’t know about this site or can’t be bothered to visit it. So now and again he gets a break to address these issues in the media, but is that enough to make a real difference. Running ads is taking it a necessary step further……. “That upcoming interview that Palin has with Charles Gibsom from ABC, will be a bunch of softball questions” …That’s exactly why they went to ABC and not NBC. They assume that since it’s not Fox that it will be OK with everybody. …...” Reds...judging from your recent posts you have a lot of faith in the Poll's.” …So far I’m reserving judgment on the ten point lead, but polls such as Gallup has a track record of a fare degree of accuracy, so I’ll wait until around Wednesday when their numbers covering the same period comes out.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Reds...did you know that the Obama campaign are running Ad's in the battleground States that address the Mccain/Palin lie's? Obama goes on the O'Rielly show and held his own, did you see that? If you want to see the Ad's that are running in the Battleground States, just YouTube it. Don't know where you kive, so maybe you aren't seeing them. Your fascination with biased poll's that are based on outdated techniques is a cause for concern. All Sarah is doing is going for the uneducated and gullible peep's in America. Anyone that supported Hillary and loved her Issues can not be taken seriously as a real Hill Supporter.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Anyone that supported Hillary and loved her Issues can not be taken seriously as a real Hill Supporter. You loved Hillary but now you are Pro-Sarah? This point is not directed at you "Reds" just making a point.

Comment: About these polls. People there is no need to panic. Just last week these very same polls had Obama up to 50% Nothing has really changed since then, but a GOP convention and Vice Prez nominee from Moosebuger, Alaska. Most people now do not even have land-line telephones in order to be polled. Ever heard of college students? They do not poll many black folks. We will be the difference this year. Believe that! Record turn out will be on the menu. Democrats have more new registered voters than Rethugs by far. Also, Obama is tracking ahead of McCain with the Hispanic voters. Do not sleep on them. They will be important out west. Obama will WIN! Si Se Puede!
