Comment: Get Well Natalie! Hope you're up & about again soon!!!

Name: nightshift
Comment: Medical set-back....just in time for her album's release. Why does she need to use her father as a back up? Shouldn't her "talent" stand for itself? Thank goodness for the mute button.

Name: McNasty
Comment: Lord I hope we don't lose this woman. She fell and came back stronger than before with a story and testimony that would help a lot of folks. I pray for a speedy and complete recovery because hepatitis is one of the diseases you can live with and be healthy if you take care of yourself.

Name: DawnDuhDuh
Comment: Co-sign with McNasty, I hope she stays around for a long time also. She is a phenomenal talent with a rich history. Moreover, she is a graceful lady in person.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: MCNASTY>that is so true. i had Hepititus back in the day. that disease is no joke but i got mine due to tainted food. i had to stay in bed for two weeks and i couldn't keep anything in my system. it was horrible. i don't ever want to go through that again.

Name: MOTHERSHIP
Comment: Dawn, I saw her debut performance at the Apollo when she had her first album out and ol' girl killed it. Yes, she is very regal and laid back in person too. Get well, Natalie.

Name: NYCsoul
Comment: McNasty> I'm pulling for Natalie as well. She always struck me as down to earth and straight forward. I hope she can beat this disease. bighchassie> That's scary. I'm glad you were able to beat hepatitis.

Name: nightshift
Comment: Bigchassie, how could you have had the disease and can't spell it?

Name: huey
Comment: bigchassie ---lol @ nightshift ---get at em chassie cause that was just flat wrong, dey aint had to come at u like dat...maybe u missed a keystroke hahahahaha

Comment: >Nightshift.. you are so wrong for that but it was so funny!!!!!!!!!

Name: bigchassie
Comment: NIGHT>that's alright, i know what i had at least.and i suffered. having it was no picnic. THANK YOU MCNASTY/HUEY

Name: bigchassie
Comment: HEPITITUS! LOL!! i had to look at the spelling of it! ex-cuse the spelling.

Name: BlackEye
Comment: Dang nightshift, why black folk always gotta be so negative and hateful to one another. The woman has an illness. Show some respect. Worse can come upon you, you know.

Name: queeniebunz
Comment: >Blackeye - I think that was a tongue-in-cheek comment. Funny too. Sorry bigchassie but it was funny...When asked to write about their future plans, my little rocket scientist students would write, "I'm going to collage next semester." I was like, what is that an art school? Or is it a French college (college w/an accent)??? I used to tell them that if they couldn't spell "collage" (college), they shouldn't be allowed to go.

Name: nightshift
Comment: O.K. alright, sorry Bigchassie and posters, but it was just sitting out there...BlackEye I have "Ar-thur-itis", but I for damn sure know how to spell my ailment correctly!! So stop throwing grease!! All y'all azzez were laughing too, especially you BlackEye! Queeniebunz, that's kinda like "ir"-regardless". Go figure.

Name: musbdherbs
Comment: Nightshift/queenie...Dan Quayle is a former senator who didn't know how to spell potato.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: NIGHTSHIFT>No problem.

Name: Gurlfrand
Comment: I wish Natalie the best of healing and health - she is one of my favorite singers of all time! Get well, Natalie - love ya!!!

Name: MzTee
Comment: Get well soon, Nat.

Name: McNasty
Comment: NYC I have mad respect for the woman and was able to see her perform quite a few times when she toured with, of all groups, Parliament Funkadelic! I felt if she could keep up with THEM she could do anything!

Name: McNasty
Comment: Nightshift newbies on the board don't know how to take our humor - I laughed - yes I did! and I also overlooked chassie's mis spelling!lmao

Name: AngieBee
Comment: I first heard about this on Sunday. I pray that Natalie is healed and comes back stronger and better than ever. Back in the day, when she sang mostly R&B, she was one of my favorites vocalists. Get Well Soon Natalie. She was suppose to be performing in Newport News, Virginia next month but that will have to wait.

Name: B00TANEB00TUS
Comment: No, no, I didn't laff at Chassie...Nightshift that sh1t was wrong...I'm not gonna laff..I'm not gonna laff...uh, uh, no sir...Not laffing at that one...Get well soon Natalie...LMBAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!couldn't contain it...

Name: Janissi
Comment: Awww, not my girl, Nat. Get better, sweetie! I love me some Natalie.

Name: queeniebunz
Comment: >musb - and you don't think I laughed at that stupid man, too? When I heard he had a "C" average in law school, I was like WTF because when I was in grad school you couldn't get any lower than a "B". A "C" was failing. But I digress. I love potatos! How could he do that to my favorite starch? Mashed potatos, scalloped potatos, potatos au gratin, hash brown potatos, home fried potatos, baked potatos, french fried potatos, baby red potatos...

Name: TMan
Comment: I am pulling for her too. I saw her on The View recently and she looked good but she was huffin and a puffin almost throughout the whole interview. I really felt for her. I almost felt like they should have stopped the interview because she was gasping for air so hard in between her words. She told the ladies it was both because she rushed to get there just in time to make it and also because of her Hepatitis C. She told them she takes her oxygen machine with her wherever she goes and she had it with her that day. Get well soon Natalie!

Name: NYCsoul
Comment: I chuckled at nightshift's comment too. McNasty, I had no idea that Natalie toured with Parliament/Funkadelic. But then, again, it's not that far fetched since Natalie was probably getting 'lifted' with George and crew. Personally, I think the seventies were a blast even though I was a wee bit at the time.

Name: BlackEye
Comment: nightshift, at least I'm like you women. You all like to throw hot grits at a sleeping brother. Breakfast in bed.

Name: BlackEye
Comment: Correction: "NOT like you women." Looks like old Ar-thur-itis is doing my typing too.
