Comment: I'm so FRIKKIN tired of people, especially men, calling their cheating a "mistake". When you make a mistake, you unintentionally make a choice, not knowing the outcome of that choice. When you cheat, you choose to sneak around lie, and fornicate with someone else at the expense of another's feelings. you know it's going to devastate the person you're cheating on. You intentionally break someone else's trust. Otherwise, why would you hide the fact that you're cheating? Have the b@lls to admit when your a good-for-nothing, low-down, evil, dirty dog who put someone else through hell because you can't keep your willy in your pants and hurt a woman, or for the ladies, when you can't stay off your back and hurt a man. A mistake, IMO, is something that's happened that you honestly had no intention of doing or of causing a particular outcome. Cheating involves planning, conscious weighing of pros and cons. The main con is getting caught and you have to work around that and you know that going into the affair. Even if it's spur of the moment, you DECIDE as to whether you're gonna do the right thing and walk away or get with this person outside of your relationship.

Comment: Sounds like the reviews of the CD are pretty good. Guess I'll get it. "Pretty Baby" helped me to get over the hump after a relationship I was in crashed the Summer of '06, so Eric and I are kinda tight like that anyway.

Comment: Yeah, nightshift, Eric and Lenny do seem to use their natural, earthy looks/dispostions as an excuse to be lazy and not take baths as often as they should. Although I'm sure Prince's ex wouldn't put up with that from Lenny because Prince is paranoid when it comes to hygeine, i.e. spends the first two hours of every morning bathing and scrubbing.

Comment: Interviewers should just stop asking him about Halle. It's old news, and she wasn't all that genuine in the relationship either. The thing I point to is her relationship with Eric's daughter, or lack there of. When they were married, Eric's daughter was like her's to, photographed together like mother and daughter. Mighty funny there is not mention of a relationship between the two of them now. When break ups happen between two adults, it's never the kids' fault. Halle should have never turned her back on the girl like she did.

Comment: I never believed Eric had a sexual addiction, and to my understanding it was one woman he cheated with, the woman he was with before Halle chased him down. The sexual addiction thing was no doubt manufactured to save Halle's face to kill the 'How can he fyck around it's HALLE BARRY' comments. Never bought it, figured their relationship was like many others, stuff happens, people grow apart, people cheat no person is immune if both people are not committed to one another and handle their problems in an immature manner. IMO he was weak back then in the respect that he either never should have left the first girl for Halle or once he was with Halle either kept to his vows or if he found he was unhappy went throught the proper channels became a free man. With that said, it's a whole lot of folks that do make a MISTAKE(what else do you want to call it when you do something you regret or showed poor judgment, he didn't say accident which would be more of how could that happen) I don't expect anyone to be perfect and I don't feel a person should be beat up the rest of his or her life over something they have already admitted was an error in judgment. This should not be the question interviewers ask Eric forever, this was quite some time ago, they have both moved on, and we are never going to know the whole story anyway. How long are we going to get pizzy with the mention of Eric Benet's name because of pooooor old Halle and we don't know either one of them, we've just chosen based on who we like the best based on manufactured images. I love Eric's music and I will buy it.

Comment: I met Eric twice. Hugged him and everything, and he DOES NOT have a hygiene problem. He's also a very down to earth friendly brother. He didn't do anything different than a lot of people have done out here, men and women. I've been burned a few times, and it wasn't because of some sex addiction.
