Comment: If I was the Dad I wouldn't worry bout the T&I islands. However, I really hope he doesn't think that his a$$ is far from safe here in the States. Blonsky, Her Father, and Her Mother will see exactly what it is to beat A$$. I don't see that Cow getting any worthwhile roles in the future. This is extremely bad press. I wish I was on that Plane!!!!

Comment: Hey Boot! TGIF.... Ruff 3 weeks. I'm tired. Wall Street has gotten the best of me! There is more to the story than reported. This whole thing started over luggage space and the model had a whole lot of it. At first I thought that it started on the plane, when there was no extra seats, and Blonsky's Dad wanted them to share some of the space. However, I was told that The Model's family was loud as hell, and that is pretty much what ticked it off. Still that was no reason for this Man and his Cow to put their hands on this Woman, and then the Cow had the nerve to put her Huff in her Crotch. Then you knock her out. $hit, I would be sueing so hard that everytime that cow and her dad opened the Fridge and saw only a lone head of lettuce, they would remember, their big mistake! Time to resurrect Johnny!

Comment: The Blonsky's have been all over the news and the tabloid shows telling their version of the story. Her father was jailed but, I am led to believe that he is now out pending the court date. I very seriously doubt based on what I've seen on TV and read that this will adversely affect Blonsky. It sadly seems to be benefitting her. I do feel that it will adversely affect the model.

Comment: BKLYNVIAMAHATTAN, the other family had taken up all the seats and Bianca's brother with a baby wanted to sit down but the other family was saving seats for her family, and one thing lead to another. But Blonsky's family started because they didn't want to give up seats.

Comment: I couldn't stand this b*tch from hell on ANTM. Funny thing - the girl I really liked, Lisa that she did her best to torment - well she's hot now. The girl did fashion week and is all over the place. I'm partial to her because she could be my niece's older sister they look so much alike. Karma is a b*tch. Lisa's a hot model and Bianca's b*tchy azz is getting her azz beat up at an airport. Being a b*tch doesn't always pay, Bianca dear. The funny thing is that I think she's absolutely gorgeous. I really do. But her personality makes her really ugly.

Comment: nightshift: When I wuz at City University in Paris back in the day, I wuz astonished how effectively COLONIALSIM could erase pride from an AFRICAN mind. Me and my Malian (Bamako) friends would be sitting on the left Bank and a bunch of Senegalese students would walk past. My Malian buddy spoke Senegalese (Woloof and Tuculor (aka Fulani) and he would speak to them in African language and they'd respond in Sengelase if they were with other Africans or French if they were with whites. They were ashamed of African languages. Some Martinicans argued that they were FRENCH and not Martinicans!! How many West Indians still bow to queenie elizabeth. I guess it ain't they fault, they jist brainwashed!!!???

Comment: nightshift: For the sake of fairness, I must declare that some of the most progressive and radical African minds I met were in Paris back in the day. If any former students from the Cite Universitie of Paris read this message, please tell me what happened to that BEAUTIFUL Malian lady I wuz crazee 'bout name Fanti. My French wuz anemic so I couldn't date her but I wuz crazee 'bout that African queen. Woulda married her in a heart beat. She and I were fond of great Senegalese Scholar Sheik Anta Diop. If I spoke French well, she'd been mine!!! LOL!!!

Comment: nightshift: Oh yeah, Leopold Senghor, the then President of Senegal wuz SOOOO proud that during the 1930's, he wuz a professor of French at the SORBONNE. He'd rather speak French than Woloof and was married to a French lady. His poetry wuz deeply thought provoking and philosophical but I didn't understand a word he wuz writin' 'bout.

Comment: "...then Blonsky's father Carl "punched my mom."
"He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom." .....Really, just like that!? Bianca, your mother was severely azzaulted, and obviously has our sympathies, so it wouldn't hurt that much to just tell us what really happened. Giving folks the run around by leaving out obvious relevant details is not going to help your case.

Comment: >fanteeking - thank you! I'm happy you read it. I got into it w/this guy on myspace because he wanted to nitpick everything I wrote instead of take in the whole message so it's good to hear from someone who "gets it". Perhaps I will write something about her because she makes me sick. I may also write something about being a black woman rather than a black man. I alluded to writing on that topic in my essay. I'll let you know when I write either essays. I swear. I am watching these elections like a guy watches football. Right now, we're in the play-offs and Nov 4th is the political Superbowl. I can't wait.

Comment: queeniebunz: I think I finally got it!!! LOL!!! When I wuz a high school senior at all-Black, Legendary, Oscar Robertson's Crispus Attucks High School, I had a University of Chicago trained English Prof. named Dr. James Gaither. I remember reading "Catcher in the Rye" and "Peer Gynt" and I never could understand his lecture on the "Stream of conciousness". But, after I read, "If I were a white man" I know 'xactly what he's teachin' 'bout. Dr. Gaither got his Doctorate from U. of Minn. and couldn't stand Eisenhower's first Black cabinet member named Robert Weaver 'cause he blocked his scholarship to get his PHD. Just a Black History moment.......LOL!!! Dr. Gaither rest in peace, you produced a lotta scholars!!!!

Comment: Fanteeking> Speaking as someone who comes from Caribbean parentage, not every Caribbean has a 'uncle tom' mentality. There have been alot of those are aware of the Pan African struggle. The ones that I know are Eric Williams of Trindad, Walter Rodney of Guyana, and Author Ivan Van Sermeter(sp?). I know you know this. And let's not forget Marcus Garvey, Louis Farrakhan, Malcolm X, and Shirley Chislom. Honestly, I get tired of all these 'divisions' that we create amongst ourselves. There are alot of us, whether they are from Africa, the Caribbean or America who are progressive and understand that we are in this fight together.

Comment: NYCSOul: No, I wuz talkin' about how COLONIALISM effects the African mind!!! I've researched the Pan-African movement in Grad school in NY and at Schomburg and am personal friend of DuBois' grandkids, but I wasn't singling out West Indians, If effects African-Americans and continental Africans too!! I've got piles of speeches from T. R. Mekonnen, Blaise Diagne, Garvey, Walter Rodney, Forbes Burnham etc. I know the great Black revolutionaries from the West Indies. Please don't think I'm making fun of Unka Tom West Indians because I always criticize Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams, Armstrong Williams, Thmas Sowell, Janice Whatsherface DC Judge, Ward Connerly etc. If I can criticize them as being Toms why can't I criticize SOME West Indians for being TOMS too. WHy I gotta separate? Aint we all AFRICAN PEOPLE!!!!

Comment: Fanteeking> No, my brother. I didn't say that. As I've heard some American Blacks tell it, they have said that Caribbean people think they are uncle toms or above American blacks. I only pointed out the examples because American blacks tend to forget that people like Garvey, Malcolm and Farrakhan have Caribbean parentage. It's not wrong calling folks out who are selling their people out but I just want to folks to think about that the way we think about each other is the way that the colonialists wanted. Which is us being at each other's throats instead focusing on the real culprit undermining African people all over the world. BTW, you should write a book with all the great experiences that you have had in your life. You should seriously think about that.

Comment: NYCSoul: When I was in the movement in Harlem back in the day on the street that ran past Columbia U. where the West Inn Bar was located, many of my radical friends were West Indians, Ethiopians and Eritreans. Being raised in the midwest, I didn't differentiate btween West Indians & African-Americans because I thought we were the same people. I ALMOST got the chance to go to Guyana to harvest sugar cane, but wuz criticized by my big city brothers and sisters 'cause I had a fondness for pig feet! LOL!! I didn't know that pig feet made you less politically aware and dedicated to the cause of liberation. Some of the fatt mouths would humiliate you if you ate bar b que. I went to Small's paradise one night and drank all the beer and ate all the curry goat meat that wuz there because there was a West Indian party and errybody thought I wuz West Indian. LOL!! The band who was performing there was a group called the COMMODORES from Tuskeegee, Alabama. I got to meet the heavy, light skinned bar tender who was Malcolm X's good buddy back in the 50's. After, Obama wins in Novemeber for the FIRST time in my life, I will fly an American Flag and stand at the Pledge of Allegiance. I can't wait to tell some disgruntled rednecks, "Hey, Jethro and Lilly Mae, Obama is in and if yaw don't like it, this is America so "Love it or Leave it". I jist can't wait. I studied Ethiopian Language (Amharic) at an Ethiopian Church in the Bronx and teacher was a priest Abba Laike-Mariam. I wuz the only non-West Indian in the class and they spoke a Patois when I came around and I didn't understand nothing. LOL!!

The owner there bawled me out for saying, "Black South Africans" and almost made me cry. Later, I found out that her FATHER was one of the gov't plants that undermined Garvey during the 1920s and had him prisoned and exiled to London. I also studied with Liberian President's son named William "Tubby" Tolbert. Thatz anutha story. LOL!!! Where's the stash Tubby? Here come da police!!!! Comment: I have two comments. First, if some man had punched my mother, no matter what the reason, when he awoke from his comma (if he awoke), he'd be eating/drinking his meals through a straw for the rest of his life. Secondly, I resent the blanket negative statement about West Indians loving yt people! I am from New York and grew up with West Indians and, just like with Black Americans, a few of them acted stink, but certainly not the majority. I've also vacationed in the West Indies a number of times and the sisters and brothers on these islands showed me nothing but Black love! Frankly, now living in Atlanta, from my personal experience, I see more of a stink attitude from Black southern women than ALL other women. And talk about someone loving yt people! Fortunately, I work in law and the majority of the Black lawyers and legal assistants on my job moved here from non-southern states so, for the most part, that stink (and ignorant) attitude is nonexistent!
