Comment: i knew somebody would try and use that inane argument...so you're telling me that a baby with a heartbeat doesnt have the right to live?....what is wrong with people teaching their kids self control/delayed gratification?...kids will not die if they dont have sex....

Comment: My daughter became pregnant at 17 and again at 18, and yes, I had her on birth control but, she took herself off of them unbeknownst to me. (sigh) Anyway, she thought about abortion but decided against it (why punish the baby?) was her reason. I completely left the decision up to her. If she had had the abortion, she would have aborted my first grandson. I have 4 granddaughters. And today, my daughter is living on her own, working part time and is a sophomore in college. She started off on "dumb" street, but she is determined to make something of herself and I am proud of her.
