Comment: Yeah, Mary definitely is NOT a punk. The Republican Knuckleheads and BoneHead Racists have been posting all kinds of craziness on the web because of Mary's article. Well, JTTT been out there ripping another hole in their a/s/s/e/s/ too!! I can be nice when I need to be but the last 3 days just ain't been the time to be nice. Their shyt is just frickin ridiculous. So, I've been breaking my cyberfoot off in their a/s/s/e/s/ !!!! A few weeks ago, she reposted Tim Wise's article re: White Privilege. Folks started tripping and acting a pure a/s/s fool. None of the Dummies stopped to pay attention to the fact that she reposted his article, but gave her 2 cents at the end. The bloggs were hot for a few days, Mary just had to come back and ask the folks if they could read cause they were all over her for the REPOST. Funny part is Time Wise is WHITE and was telling it like it is, about other WHITE folks but the Knuckleheads were clowning with Mary. She stood her ground with them though. One thing I can say is Mary will not back down from a good "fight". Go Mary, Go Mary!

Comment: Mrs. Mitchell, I come from the standpoint of someone who would really like to see genuine racial harmony in America. I am a white man who was born and raised in the South (NC). For me, the only thing I feel I owe anybody (black or white) is the respect they are due as a human being. It goes back to the Golden Rule of do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You come across as one that automatically assumes the motivation behind a white person's criticism has to be racist. But is that assumption not racist in and of itself? I've got to be honest, this is what a lot of us are getting sick and tired of hearing. Yes, there are plenty of white bigots out there. But they are, believe it or not, in the minority. Quit painting all of us with your broad brush. You need to give people a chance on an individual basis. And we need to do the same.
