Comment: I agree ticket sales are the bottom line in the Concert Biz. To charge the general public between $50 to $130 per ticket in a struggling economy the likes of which we find ourselves in right now, is asking a lot of an audience even if you are a Janet Jackson, Cher, Elton John, Bono, Celine Dion, etc. I will know if this tour is officially over if she cancels D.C. because DC/MD/VA love themselves some Janet and she always sells out D.C. That is some full house money right there to turn down two times! We will see! ;) Get Well Soon, Janet!

Comment: Why is Janet being deemed "too old" to tour at the young age of 42? Madonna is doing it at 50 & Tina Turner is doing it at 68 - and they aren't missing a beat in anyway. Are they supposed to be too old to tour also? Yet, they have sold out shows? Age is obviously irrelevant. Most folks just aren't feeling Janet. For her, that reality probably is enough to make her sick. Maybe she should've chosen smaller venues for her concerts. Sometimes less is more.
