Comment: a luv it when a plans comes to fruition. i made it a point to watch the opening of the game and then watch the local news afterwards.
it is beautiful, so once again i was glad that i could count of my beautiful illadelphia boo birds.
i was concerned as to whether or not the hockey fans would hold down our tradition of hate, but like an old 63 buick electra 225 they turned over with narry a problem. they boo ya regardless of the sport, they are non partision booers. lol.
he11, if they will boo beyonce and the girls during their halftime show during all star weekend, then pay-less should have known dayum well her azz was gonna be cooked moose. big up illadeph, "PAY-LESS IS WHO WE THOUGHT SHE WAS AND WE DIDNT LET HER OFF THE HOOK"

Comment: ...matter of fact, let me leave yall with this peice of advice should u ever visit the city of brother luv and sisterly affection, their have been many times i have gone to shows and sporting events where i have booed people unmercifully that i hated to have to boo, but i booed anyway because thats proper etiquette here in philly. u boo because we say u boo, u dont question the boo, if u were picking up popcorn at the concession stand and u just happen to walk in on a boo in progress u put that dayum popcorn down and u get to booing, loudly, 3rdly, for u outta towners (and this aint no joke). dont wear your colors to ANY illadelph sporting event because we take it as a direct insult and a direct challange of our fandome hood so in closing, u better get to booing alas get yo head smashed in, dont EVER question the boo, "just do it"....lol

Comment: the article does not mention that we booed kobe bean bryan so loudly when he won mvp during all star weekend in philly it brought tears to his eyes. he went own to say at the press conference afterwards "how could my own hometown boo me?" ...well brohammer head, let me skool ya, we never considered u to be from philly, u was from the rich suburbs, and u didnt even live there but a hot minute, so u was fodder for the boo brother. nothing personal, strickly buisiness.

Comment: I'm a diehard Giants fan and my boy had tickets to see the Eagles vs. NY a couple of seasons back. He warned me, "you don't want to go up in there wearing Giant Blue friend. I'll even act like I don't know you." He didn't have to say anything about that because their reputation preceded them. When you have a stadium that is equipped with a judge and a holding cell inside the same building that also houses sporting events, you KNOW that place is no joke. But at least my G-Men won the game... (smile)

Comment: Luke_Cage ---, i have witnessed first hand countless stories, i was at a redskins eagles game when a african american couple in their late 50's early 60's were wearing the skins jerseys and getting their sippy sippy on with a flask they had brought with them. well, there was not a problem ...at first, but in the 4th quarter the eabls started to loose...do u know the eagles fans called security on them negros and had them thrown out for bringing in alchohic beverages lol...another incident, which made the philly enquirers newpaper article: have the fans gone too far?. ..well, the eagles were playing carolina in the playoffs. a carolina guy wore his colors, he went to take a pee, and two eagles fans on either side of him wizzed on both of his legs. he said he had to leave the game. there are countless stories.

Comment: What's up huey? I love going to Philly. I always have fun when I go there and King of Prussia. But I truly believe what you said in your statement about the fans. I think at this point, booing has become a badge of honor for them. Honestly, I think you're supposed to boo the opposition, regardless if you're a local boy (Kobe Bean Bryant) or from out of town. But the field is the safest place to play in Philly. It's strictly Eagles territory in the stadium. Did you see what happened in Arizona yesterday? The visiting Cowboys had 1/2 as many fans in there as the hometown Cowboys. That wouldn't have happened in Philly. The funniest story I heard is a guy who came in there wearing green, much like the Eagle green in their uni's. Except the dude was actually rooting for the visiting Jets whose colors are very similar to the Eagles colors. Heck, folks didn't give him a second look. They simply figured he was a Eagles fan. But late in the 4th quarter as the Jets attempted to mount a comeback, he must have reacted in a way that showed the Philly fans that he was rooting for the J-E-T-S. A mock fight was created, one dude ducked when another threw a punch and it hit the Jets fan squarely in the mouth. Basically, not in our house is their motto. I'm not testing those guys in those stands.. no way! Palin never stood a chance in that arena.

Comment: Luke_Cage--lol, yea, its a crazy town. never a dull moment. the thing i luv about philly sports fans in general and philly peeps in particular is that they wear they hearts on there sleeves.
there was a documentary on the history channel about sports tailgating not long ago. the history channel went for city to city covering sports tailgating and sports fans. wouldnt u know they would save philly for the last segment of the show. they start the segment out by saying "now these people are just CRAZY!" lol, there was this white couple, two husbands and two wives, they said they had driven down to philly to watch the giants game. they said they had heard about how rabid the fans were and so they decided it would be best to leave all of their giants stuff in the car as not to %*$! anyone off. so they went in, watched the game and came back out after the game and couldnt find their car. lol. they said they walked and walked looking for thier car to no avail. finally they said they waited for the parking lot to clear out so they could locate thier vehicle, come to find out after the lot cleared out, they had been walking past their car over and over again, why u ask? because the eagles fans must have seen their giants stuff in the car and decided to spray paint the entire car, hub caps, tires and all, green and silver...lol

Comment: They turned up the music to try to drown out the boos. MSM is of course trying to spin this. I saw a private video and they were booing like crazy and chanting "azzhole!" At an event earlier in the day, Palin realized she could be booed and said she'd take her 8 year daughter out with her so that wouldn't happen. It didn't work. What kind of a mother would do that? Ugh!!!

Comment: Yeah, BigChassie, it is all about the luv! My cousin Kim is our Liz Taylor of the family. We won't know if she's gotten husband number 6 yet until the next family reunion. She's only 38 and divorced husband #5 about 1 1/2 years ago. So, she's due for another husband - I mean victim - or either to remarry #5. You never know with her.
