Now if you think you are a A list Star and can go into places demanding this and that.... you got another thing coming. Anyway, Don is the better actor. So let him have his Glory... He's just a hop away from a much well deserved Oscar. Remember that! The next time you are offered a role that is in place for 1.5 mil and your camp is demanding 6, you might want to shut up, there is no Movie Producer/Director going to blow his budget or time to satisfy you!

Comment: Maybe it was nothing that he did, but what he didn't do, delivery. I rented Iron last weekend and frankly Terrence was the weak link in the film. I just didn't find him to be believable as a a top military commander. Something about his mannerisms, he just didn't come across as a strong, tough guy; the character seemed to sensitive, sterotypically, a strait people don't associate with military leaders. I've seen Terrence play bad guy roles where he played tough so I don't know why he didn't deliver in this film, but maybe the producers felt the same way.

Comment: gingerg --He and phylicia were out the friday night that i was supposed to attend. it was a nasty night too, one of those rain all day and night, windy, chilly nights. i was not particularly enthused with taking the trip up on the nj. tranisit and all those great pains.
just as i got dressed and was preparing to head out, i thought i would check me email. got a message from the theater saying that they were a noshow but two hours or so before show time (how convinient.) u best believer that i called and recheduled for that next saturday when both they azzes were going to be onstage. the play was good but not great. t.h. voice is not equipped for stage. u could hear everyone except him. and when he went mono a mono with j.e.jones, u could clearly tell that he needed to stick with the big screen.

Regarding TH and his dealings - he needs a new agent. He was on the radio here in DC talking about how his agent is a Howard grad because he was grand marshall of the HU homecoming parade. He needs a new agent because whoever he is, he needs to muzzle his client or stop representing TH as if he's Denzel. I think he's a fabulous actor. He stole the show in "The Best Man" and he has been good in other things, too. I have to agree that he really wasn't that believable in the military role. I can see Don Cheadle doing it better but then I've been partial to Don Cheadle since he was in "Picket Fences" on CBS back in the early 90s. Yeah, I'm taking it WAY back. LOL

Terrence's career depends on people hiring him, and that means he has to be cooperative or he will be REPLACED - and probably by a better actor with fewer issues.

Comment: I believe there is more to this story than both Terrence and Marvel are telling.
Maybe Terrence's firing had to partially do with his behavior on the set of Iron Man. I read an interview where he said he risked getting fired from Iron Man by taking pics of the top secret Iron Man costume even after the producers told him not to and even though it was in his contract. Terrence said with his own mouth that he tried to break every rule in his contract.

Anywho, Halle cracked me up cos in the beginning of the first movie, she tried to do an African accent. Then I guess the director/studio/whomever just told her not to bother.
