Comment: This is tragic. A man is serving almost two years for a crime involving the killing of animals for sport and we have a vice presidential candidate who is touted for her ability to kill animals for sport. Sometimes I think the world is literally turned on its head.

Comment: Great analogy Exun....Is this rocket science 'cause I really don't understand how can they keep a person in jail without a plea. I thought he had and that that's why they were keeping him in.

Comment: On point Exmun! Nightshift state and federal charged him separately. White folks in Virginia not only aren't playing but sending a message as to how they feel about black men. You can't tell me this is about some dogs cause there are active dog fighting rings in Virginia still - they just aren't looking for them and there are no high profile people attending or running them.

Comment: this is some Bullsh*t. Now listen up i was listening to radio free Stevie Wonders radio station with Dominic De Prima and Mario Van Peeples was on. He said watch out. they have national guards stations all over the united states parked on city streets waiting for a riot to start after the election is over so go vote and go home. I don't want to see anybody hurt. They are aiming for us so lets keep calm, vote and party at home.

Comment: Some people have did less time for killing a person than Vick will end up doing. At any rate, my guess is he'll be back in football shape and ready to play somewhere by fall of 2010. Will it be in the NFL? It's possible that some of the hate of the dog owners will have died down enough to make that possible, but I doubt it. Probably in Europe somewhere.

Comment: Dcdouglas Vick is going to play for Dallas, they're the only ones that appreciate the convicts and troublemakers! Go Dallas!

Comment: I think Vick will do fine somewhere in the NFL. Lord knows there are a few teams that could use a quarterback. I think a team like Kansas City Chiefs might do him well. Assuming Herm Edwards remains the coach, Vick would have an older Black coach, former NFL player to assist in rehabbing his character. There are a lot of teams that could use his skills, conviction or not... Minnesota, Detroit, Cinci, Houston, San Fran. Don't sleep on Mike Vick.

Comment: Don't get me wrong, I love dogs dearly. But I, too, find it incredulous that the vice-presidential nominee can carry a gun and kill moose at will while a young man is in jail due to his murder of dogs. This is not right.

Comment: Shocking! I can't believe people are actually sympathizing for Vick! This board came at head for siding with him a few months ago. ALMOST everyone was saying good for him and the like. How things have changed.

Comment: Testical> I was thinking the same thing. The comments at the time were harsh. Yes, what he did was stupid considering how blessed he was to be where he was, but it did not warrant all of this. VA did go after him, guns blazing to make an example out of him - period. I think he will bounce back and I hope it is in the NFL and I hope he comes back and really do the dayum thang too.

Comment: lilmocc I'm glad you remember. The board wanted my head for siding with Vick. It was stupid what he did but niggahs went all out on him. Vick will make it back to the NFL. I honestly believe that.
