Comment: So now that Obama has won the election, I suppose that everything is cool with Oprah's audience. I think her white women majority audience expressed their true feelings in the early stages of her support for Obama. It just goes to show that just because people support black folk in an entertainment capacity, it doesn't necessarily mean they accept them at every realm of society, ie, spouse, politician, neighbor. It would not be suprising to know that some of Oprah's audience were supporters of Hillary Clinton or John McCain.

Comment: In the end, it's great to have your original position validated. I'm glad that Oprah took a stance and never wavered. The ratings were high be cause everyone who was down with the cause wanted to celebrate with her. Now those "PUMAs" can fade into bitter obscurity.
