Comment: That should be interesting! I watched last night, and Hands Down NeNe is the Show. I laughed so hard at her Gay Friend, he's naturally funny. He was on that Super Sweet Sixteen party show. This time a wealthy Entertainment Lawyer from Atlanta was throwing a party for his Daughter, and they wanted to have it at Justin's. The Gay Guy was the party organizer for Justin's and he was just straight funny. From watching last night, which was a hoot, Sheree's ex just dissed her at her own party. She constantly reminds everyone that she put her dreams aside for Bob and he didn't care what she wanted. Well, it showed with his one line... You are really still trying to pull this off? The look on her face was so hurtful. I actually felt kinda bad for her.

Comment: Bklyn I watch this show - I watched the other two but this one hands down is more colorful, has more drama than a little bit and the golddiggers are absolute pro's! Lisa is the only one that truly works for a living. The others are 'trying' things and livin' real big off their men. Its too bad Sheree got her face broke - she certainly asked for it. Obviously her almost ex knows her only too well. All that braggadocio ad naseum will cause the best intentioned in the bunch to wish you ill will. Anyway - good show and I can't wait to see the reunion. Oh, and as for NeNe - NeNe is scraight up ghetto!

I agree NeNe was the whole show. Looking at all the women she is the only one I really liked. Also, Nene was the only one on the show who was friends with ALL the ladies (how many times did Deshawn have to say her entire name on the phone before Sheree knew who she was??). She (Nene) was the funniest and the most real(although I do think her hubby should have shut her down in the limo when she was talking about Kim. On the other hand Lisa (and I know it was Lisa) should not have went back and told Sheree and in turn Sheree (I'm sure) told Kim what was said about her (that's when I started looking at Lisa twisted...trying to play all innocent and went back and snitched). Although Nene shouldn't have said it she was obviously very drunk. Kim was a waste of a spot and they could have definitely had another "housewife" other then her. Very cowardly to send someone a text message; she should have at least called Nene and confronted her straight up. I bet Big Papa will never allow his self to be revealed, he will be riduiculed. The reunion is going to be GREAT!!! The season was too short.

Dwight ain't no joke. Y'all saw that white suit he had on and them shoes? Those shoes were the shyt! RSmi, I agree, Kim is triflin' all she had to do was talk to NeNe. That also was a punk move by them to say they were coming to the barbecue and then not call or show up.

Comment: I thought that Lisa and Sheree were the closest; they seemed to be around eachother more than the others (Sheree was the only one that seemed to spend time around Lisa and her husband.) I think this is the reason Lisa told Sheree in strict confidence. Shereee was definitely wrong for telling Kim; especially since Kim and Sheree aren't that close. NeNe is my favorite.

Comment: I absolutely love NeNe. Kim is you typical white girl. She's friends with whoever will put up with her then when they don't follow her plan, she bails. I can't wait for NeNe to confront her. Even though Lisa shouldn't have went back and opened her mouth I still love her. She and NeNe are the "real" housewives. Sheree got her face cracked like shyt. LOL! I started to feel sorry for her but then changed my mind. I think her ex is the only one who can knock her azz off that high horse she's been riding. Her clothes were so ugly and then she didn't have samples to show at the party. I can't wait til next week when Michael Knight from Project Runway bust Sheree out. The reunion show should be a hoot. I felt bad that the man NeNe thought was her father turned out not to be her father. I loved the brunch she threw with all the women in those beautiful hats. Can't wait for the finale.

Yea, Dwight was hilarious...talking about his pretty toes...LOL. Nene is a good one because I would not have even acknowledged receiving that text message. If you have something that important to say say it to someone directly. I'm sure Kim was way tooooooooooooo scared to say any of that directly to Nene (Nene would have torn that animal she calls hair out of her head). If I were Nene I would have just kept talking to her like I hadn't received the text just to see how she reacted. Kim needs to thank Nene because if it weren't for Nene she would not have been on that show. And bottom line she needs to get real about her singing...she can't. I found it interesting that Kim didn't want to eat the guacamole that was being mixed with a stone but she was willing to drink some wine that had sand in it....TOO FUNNY!!!

I could put up with Kim, but she shouldn't told though. For Sheree to be spendin' big bucks on her clothing line, she should have went to the heavy hitters waaay before. She tried to cut corners by hiring that seamstress. You get whatcha pay for. Those samples looked like it came from the 99 cent bin!!! It was too embarrasing. Dwight said "who gives a fashion show without fashion?" I too loves me some Dwight!

The group dynamics were interesting. From what I observed:
Nene-friends with all of the ladies but not quite sure how close her and Lisa were.
Lisa-friends with Sheree and Nene.
Sheree-friends with Nene and Lisa.
Kim-originally only appeared to be close friends with Nene, but in the past hung out with Sheree through Nene.
Deshawn-(seemed like the new kid on the block). Friends with Nene and seemed to be forging a friendship with Lisa because of the NFL/NBA wives connection. Sheree always acted like she didn't know who Deshawn was when she called i.e. when asking her about the auction and again when calling to invite her to the "sunset barbecue" (doesn't everyone because of caller i.d. know who calls before they answer the phone these days??) I always thought she was intentionally dissing Deshawn. I think this disrespectful behavior towards Deshawn lead Sheree not to feel the need to call her back regarding the barbecue (Deshawn acted like it didn't bother her but I really think it did). Kim (the follower she is)probably didn't return the phone call because her new bff (Sheree) didn't.

Sheree is not what she thinks she is; she is low-budget trying to be high-budget--anyone who needs to talk about what they have and what they are going to do as much as she does...and she is NOT 38. Kim? Please. I knew girls like that in high school. She is pointless and I WISH she would pull that wig/weave/piece mess off the top of her head. Follower indeed. DeShawn? Pointless. To me, they could have chosen better representation though as on all of the other seasons (Orange Cty, NYC, etc.) most of those ladies work for a living and most of these do not. Lisa seems to be the only one with her own thing. Although it seems that Sheree had her own boutique at some point. I am a bit happy that Sheree got her face cracked last night b/c she to me seems to act as if she is better than the other ladies and she is a master manipulator. She is playing this Kim/Nene thing to the hilt. She told Kim she sings well. She is NOT her friend AND she is a LIAR, b/c Kim can't sing a cat off nobody's table. She had a smirk on her face last night when someone called to ask her why she didn't show up or call DeShawn about the BBQ when she promised to show up. But that face was broke down yet again when Mike Knight spoke on the real regarding her fashion line, LOL! Can't wait to see that epi next week. I like DeShawn. She is a bit of an air head and she is the new kid on the block, but I think she is genuinely a good person and tries to keep the peace. I like Lisa, but she has a very strong personality. I know she is weary of her husband going to Oakland to play but she needs to support him as he does her in EVERYTHING she does. Dayum does she EVER STOP. I don't like the fact that she (and Ed) went back and told Sheree what was said in the limo that night. Perhaps she and DeShawn should have talked to Nene the next day in an effort to get everything squashed instead of fanning the flames and having it spiral out of control. I do NOT like Kim at ALL. She is wishy washy and two faced. At first, she was laughing and talking about Sheree right along with Nene, but when Nene told her that she didn't know she could sing b/c she had never even heard her so much as hum, she got pizzed at Nene and started gravitating towards Sheree. She keeps saying that "Big Poppa" doesn't want to be identified and that he is "the ONE". What an oxymoron. He doesn't want to be revealed b/c he is married. How can someone be "the One" if they are already married. AND she thinks she is fine with her old looking self. When she said she was 29, I was like get the fukk outta here that is some bullshat. She looks every bit of 40 with all of that big whyte girl weave. Nene is VERY ghetto, but it seems that all who know her knows she speaks her mind. She sometimes works my nerves too, but she and her gay friend Dwight(my man, my man, LOL) are funny as heyell. Dwight needs his own show, honey....

Comment: lilmocc: there were quite a few women on the OC & NY shows that didn't work for theirs. I can't recall their names but they were there. I do remember that the Sheree in the NY show was the one with the husband who was also a Sheree. She and her husband went everywhere together. On the OC show the unemployed goldigger was the blonde chick with the 3 kids (one kid was in a detention center) and she married well. You would've thought the money was hers from the jump. She was 'subtle" goldigging. Back to the NY show..they had their NeNe and Sheree on there as well. They were always bickereing and talking about each other behind their backs. Since the women in ATL are Black, it justs pops more and they have a more colorful way of expressing it. NY/OC/ ATL..same stories, different casts.

On the OC one, Lauri didn't work (she actually did briefly work with Vicky selling insurance), the others all work. In NY, the only one that didn't work was the Countess - all of the others worked - including Alex (who was always attached at the hip with hubby Simon. Yeah, the bickering and all that comes with is is one of the main premises of the shows, so I'm not saying any of that. My comment was that on the other shows, MOST of the other women seem to be working and it is the opposite on the Atlanta version.

When I was channel surfing and the title of this show came up I thought it was catchy and intriguing. Nene - entertaining? I find her embarras.sing because every time she gets drunk she trashes Sheree and at some point she's either gonna have to confront Sheree or get the hell over it. As for Lisa repeating that insipid bullshyt from the limo - that's the only time I thought 'bytch' about her. If you don't like drama so much you don't spread shyt around. The one thing that NeNe said that is the absolute truth is that Sheree is a fake - she has a facade that if she dropped that wall she prolly wouldn't like her damnself! TMan it is the best of all of them because it is hella more colorful. The white women, even in argument were more polite (except the for the red head and the blonde on the NY show - they outright argued). Mindless, harmless entertainment and I look forward to the new OC show.

Comment: I love this show...I have a reminder to tune in and the dvr to tape it...NeNe wasn't my first choice at first but now she's about as real as it gets....I mostly dislike Kim and Sheree..funny how the two of them are best of friends now when Kim was co-signing everything NeNe had to say about Sheree. I think Sheree is very shallow and her mouth did hit the floor in the previews when she was told just because you have money doesn't mean you will successful..or something that. Didn't they say early in the show that they'd been friends for YEARS? Three episodes into the show, they fall out!? Mmmm hmmm... Like Anderson Cooper, I loves me some NeNe...in a platonic way...like Andy. NeNe's the sun and the others are just planets revolvin' around HER! I'm dyin' to see this reunion show. Comment: Hi,Everyone. I knew this show would be a hot mess when my Director ( who is white) asked me (the only black person on the team) if I had seen this program at a meeting. My Director went on to say that they thought Sheree was *so beautiful* and that they "discovered" the show channel surfing. Said the show caught their attention for the "usual reasons" but now, they watch every week. The show has become can't miss TV for them so, calling it "Research", I watched the show to see what it was about. Now, me and the Director are chatting about the show each week and may possibly result in getting me promoted. So, thanks "RWOA". Ghetto or not, you rock!!!! Of course, my favorite is Lisa because at least she is shown working but....must admit that Nene ( yes she *is* ghetto)is growing on me.

Comment: Good Evening in the Sandlot... the post's are hilarious! Need all's attention now! Especially Mothership/McNasty/Huey/TMan... I welcome all posts at this time. My Son is serving in Iraq.. He's been in the Military since he was 17.. Graduated at 15, didn't want to got to College right away. But I guess scared of Good Ole Mom.. Spent one year in College, and then the Military took him.. 9/11 didn't happen until after, Well now, he is coming home on leave, 5 days. (Business that he can't discuss.) He is proberly here in the States now, however not in NY until Friday. His Daughter turned 1 today.
Anyway, I try to keep up with him via e-mail, he is with Special Services, you are not told where they are, and the e-mails are so few and inbetween. The last couple of e-mails, I kinda detected that something is not right with his sense of Thinking! U got me! I've been reading that a lot of the Soldiers that come back from Iraq just completely whacked out! I hope that this is not my Boy!.. I've been thinking, and not quite sure of a good way to approach. I grew up in the hood as he, Brooklyn at it's finest, so you know you have to make it.I just want to make sure that his point is on the right point, you get me?
