Isn't this about the 10th time will and jada have had the cover and about the 5th time it had to do with relationships?! Either essence is pimpin' them or their using it as a marketing tool - which they don't need so - its overkill!

Comment: cosign everyone in regards to the Essence cover. I am sick and tired of seeing the same people. Every other month Monique, Mary J, Beyonce, Jada rotate covers. I'm glad Will and Jada are holding it down. Hats off to them!!! But damn can Essence feature someone else doing a damn thing. We heard Will and Jada's story a 100 times already. Geesh.

Comment: Okay, um, uh, why isn't Obama or Michelle or Obama and Michelle or Obama and Michelle and the kids on this cover? All that BS about the cover story being done months ago needs to go out the window when the president-elect is a black man and a black family will be at 1600 Penn Ave NW! This is ridiculous! Besides that, why didn't they plan to have them on the cover either way, win or lose? Win - how their lives would change...Lose - how they will continue on w/him as a senator. This is why I stopped getting Essence like 7-8 years ago. It's a hot buttered mess.

Comment: The Obamas was on the cover about two months ago. I have that issue on my coffee table but I hope they have them again in January or February issue for 09...I guess there is nobody else out there doing it big like Will and Jada since Ruby and Ossie??

Comment: On the Essence Cover photo, Will resembles a lighter Tyler Perry and Jada looks a bit like Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown. Anyhoo, I've always liked them as a couple. They appear to be grounded and down-to-earth folks. I wish them nothing but continued success.

Comment: I saw Will Smith on Oprah talkin bout his new movie then he started talkin bout how he raises his kids. He said he runs his family like a business complete with Kid Comittees for them to make their own decisions. Some of his examples he gave I thought were cool and creative but some of it I was like "Say What?" "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit!" LOL!
