Comment: Fight them tooth and nail - just because irs says you owe doesn't mean you owe as much as they claim.

Comment: Seems like they go after this man every damn month, wasn't he in some trouble with them months back???

Name: Stephanie
Comment: Does this surprise anyone??? What REAL job did Al Sharpton ever have? Where is his church? He was nothing more than a pimp and would do and say anything to get a quarter. Like he really was going to abide by the campaign rules and regulations. Nuggas got eat too...

Comment: Steph: I always wondered if he ever had a church and what is or was his real job??? LOL

Name: McNasty
Comment: DC this is a continuation from when they went after him earlier this year - the investigation is wrapping up and their findings, while not conclusive culminated in this story. Stephanie he doesn't have a real job but he is an ordained preacher and whether or not he has a real church he is allowed to conduct his business like he has one. When it comes to matters of the irs/federal government we can't just let them say this is the amount you owe and in the same place neither should Rev. Al. If folks were giving him cash - there is no accounting - only a gues.stimate by them and I wouldn't under any circumstances take their word for it. They would have to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt just like they would expect you to do!

Comment: McNasty, I totally understand but do you honestly believe Al Sharpton is a law abiding, tax paying citizen?? Do you remember when they had him on tape making a drug transaction? He's a hustler and he gets over on emotionally unstable black people that truly think he's a true advocate to our cause. He's a lying cheat just like Jesse Jackson...

Comment: This is not good.

Name: Conrad
Comment: Surprise, surprise, surprise. Perhaps Rev. should hire one of those firms on TV where people say, "I owed the IRS $15,000,000, but such and such agency settled it for $.50." Then again, maybe half that $500,000 went to keep his konk tight!
