Comment: Sigmatherunner, what was wrong with Girlfriends. It was a presentable show about working-class Black women. If you like Black women, you like Girlfriends. On the other hand, I hope it doesn't follow the trend of modern day Black shows that makes all Blacks look like thugs, gangsta's pimps and video whores.

Comment: Blackeye What I like didn’t was this poor excuse of TV show. (I agree with on the modern day remark) I guess since the was one of the few shows with a black cast People thought it was a good show…not. You had scatter brain heifer who found issues with every guy she dealt with. The other characters are not even worth mentioning.

Comment: ....So just 'cause Rak got in we gonna see dumb sh1t...More dumb sh1t...I really can't speak on this until it airs...I just don't like the fact that TV will try and capitalize on this...They coulda produced good shows years ago...The election of Rak now makes it OK?...Are we now gonna see a slew of Black programs?....I could really care less 'bout fuccing sit-coms...Put some Black folks on the talking head shows...Different Black folks not the same ones we see all the time...New faces, fresh voices...

Comment: In case they forgot, we already had a black Friends show, it was called Living Single. This great show was ripped off by their own studio, put in white face and was called Friends. Of course, the white Friends got stupidly rich, while the black Friends are just getting by, except for Queen Latifah. I, too, would like to see more diversity on tv, not just the black and white. Half and Half tried to do that. I'm still mad that they took that off.

Living Single. mmm mmm mmmmm. That show was the shyt. Then FOX decided to lighten up and little by little all of it's programming changed and I don't even watch that channel anymore. CW is a joke to me. JMO. I could not relate to girlfriends but once again, that's JMO. SO - I flip the channel and give my eyes to programming I find interesting. We can do the same for this show when it airs.

Comment: Anybody remember the show "Carter Country"? Another show that tried to capitalize on a new president (Jimmy Carter) following a very unpopular one (Nixon). It lasted less than a season, which is what I expect from this one. Then again, the CW is a network that would jump on this weak idea. Who knows? If the show is written well it could do some good and grow some legs. Then again, these are the producers of "The Game"...
