Comment: As I recall reading about this over a year ago "Did she not jump out of her SUV upset saying it was my fault"? So don't sit up there & say people were pointing fingers & making their own assumptions!

Comment: jlove: That's not fair. Even if she did say that immediately afterwards does not mean that it's her fault that the lady died. It may be her fault that she hit the car in front of her but toxicology (Did I spell that right? It's early.) show that the lady that died was high on marijuana. She was just in a big accident so she was emotional. You may be the type to read the full articles before making an assumption but a lot of people do not. I read a lot of hateful comments from people who were not there and clearly had not read any facts. I understand the victim's family is still grieving but I don't think this girl owes them $50 million for an accident when the woman was high and Brandy was not charged with anything. But, this is America so I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Comment: I hear you mstoastedalmond. This accident is coming up on its 2 year anniversary next month and I'll never forget how harsh some of the comments were for Brandy back then. There were many that said lets wait until all the facts are gathered before passing judgment, but there were alot of others who just blasted Brandy without knowing everything first. 2 years later she's still talking about this terrible accident and these kinds of things can leave terrible scars on the mental, especially when someone dies. Having been there (though not as a driver), I feel her pain. Lets leave the judging to her peers next year and pray that she wasn't at fault for what happened that day. Stay up Brandy.

Comment: An accident is an accident, it means it wasn't on purpose but that doesn't mean someone isn't at fault. If Brandy was the one who slammed into the other car, which caused a chain reaction then she is at fault. I don't see how that can be questioned. I also don't get the lawsuit, but I mean I guess if you don't want what the insurance pays then you sue for more....
I will pass on the music but I wish her well.

Comment: -->MER82 i agree with you....it was an accident but it still was brandy's fault but she shouldn't be demonized for it because this type of accident happens all the time.

Comment: mstoastedalmond, I do agree that Brandy does not owe them people $50mil. I know people can be cruel and they don't think before opening they're mouths! I was just stating what she had said in that interview back then about the matter. Thanks

Comment: Brandy, consider yourself lucky. Atleast you still have a life. Learn from mistakes and accidents and keep your eye on the road. <> DCGG, lmao! <> mstoasted, I don't agree with that 50 Million at all (and I hope they don't get nearly that much) but, does the fact that the woman was high justify her death or the way she died?

Comment: Okay, question. I agree w/MER82. If she was the one that caused the accident, why is she not at fault? Of course it wasn't on purpose, but I wonder if everyone would be so sympathetic if it were YOUR family member that died. Since everyone's read the "facts" please, do tell. I'm not saying people should hang Brandy on the cross, but if you are negligent, you are negligent, accident or not.

Comment: The CHP found evidence when recreating the accident that Brandy was not at fault for the woman's death and did not press charges against her at the time, so the family filed a lawsuit. I think she felt (and obviously still) feels guilty that she was involved at all in an accident where someone was killed.

Comment: @nightshift.... She didn't cause that accident.. also, the Estranged Husband, is the one who tried to sue her! I now for sure she took care of the Children however, the Slick A$$ Husband got squat! He was separated and a dead beat Dad when this happened.. He didn't even want to take his Children after the Woman Passed! Just trying to be slick.. So now Grandma can raise the Children with no worries, and he is on the outside looking in!
