Comment: I love Magic and all of the wonderful things he's done for the community, but bruh needs to step up to the plate and make those employees' entire pay package comparable to what union workers receive.

Comment: MzTee - If he wanted to go union, he would've hired union workers. It could be that in order to hire as many people as they have, the trade off was that certain benefits would not be paid 100% by the employer. Since I've been out of the military, I've always had to pay part of my benefits out of my pay check, so it's not cruel and unusual for them either. People are getting laid off by the 1000s, so I'm sure they would rather pay $300 for the benefits than to not have any benefits or pay at all.

Comment: Angel...I don't agree with you; otherwise, why would they be striking. Why go so far as to match the union package except extending benefits to family members. And, we're not talking about folks co-paying for their benefits, it costs these workers $300 a month PER family member. For a family of 4 that is $900 a month for health coverage. That's pretty exorbitant for folks who are making less than $25/hr.
