Comment: A justly deserved honor too. I remember when she was running Essence and going to Fordham in the evenings for her bachelors. Susan has always been upfront and level headed. Met her on many occasions. Congrats, and you go, girl!

She came to speak at the community college I worked at years back and the young woman in the audience were thrilled to meet her. She was so gracious and real.
