Comment: we try so hard to be considered American because we are routinely viewed as being alien other, residing outside of the American melting pot and the American dream . . . . in the Sunday Washington Post, there was an article about the emergence of a significant number of bi-racial or multi-racial citizens and that those citizens deserve to have their achievements viewed from the perspective of bi-racial or multiracial with Obama as Exhibit A . . . . .
