Comment: I am so not buying the jealousy theory. The man had something like two or three other girlfriends and at least one in pregnant. Something is not right with this case. I really believe that someone else did it.

Comment: who in the hell do they think believe that this man killed three people by himself and the only motive is that big girl was dating someone else. As Keith Sweat would say "something something something something just ain't right!"
They better handle this case as if it was the president of the United States and find out what really happened before whoever did this will strike again at Jennifer and Julia even though I have a strong belief that Julia had her hands in this also.

Comment: Jealousy-control issues could of easily played a big part in this crime. Just because dude had other women he still thought in that warped head of his he loved her- she was still his. The majority of cases involving domestic abuse and hsubands killing wives - the man is always found out to have another woman or women on the side. As crazy as it sounds- these men are jealous that their women have moved on.

Comment: I think the police are keeping this all close to the vest, releasing just enough information to make it look like they've launched a big investigation. Comment: On point Lorraine! He didn't want her but he didn't want anyone else to have her either and be damned that he had other females (can't call any of them women!). A lot of the recent crimes of men killing women - half of these cases the couple were no longer together. Also, while he prolly wasn't alone - he did it nonetheless. This is the OJ case come back!

Comment: There is something stinking really foul about this case. I believe he is a pyschotic jealous fool but something else is behind this. The streets know but ain't talking and no he didn't kill the Hudson family by himself. This was more of a hit than a jealous rage.

Comment: Nightshift, Bigma and SS69054 - When you have a gun and go into a home where they know you, do you really need a lot of folks to kill 3 people?! I'm not saying he did it or he did it alone, but I can easily see him coming over..moms and brother chillin on the couch and he justs gets up and blasts them..then he tells the kid (who is probably scared to death) to STFU and get his azz in the truck... I was watching First 48 and this dude killed like 5 people by himself. He got into an argument with his brother and ended up shooting the brother and his girlfriend and beating all of their kids to death, except one that barely survived his beating. The police thought it was a group of folks involved, but when they questioned the only survivor, he said his uncle did it...they arrested the uncle and he confused that he did it. He said he shot his brother in self defense and killed the rest to get rid of the witnesses...

Comment: I hear what most of you are saying, but I just having a hard time believing that he is so twisted that he would kill three people and then go kick it a his other woman's house. Jealousy is often the reason women are abused and murdered, but even when the family is targeted the killer usually isn't found just hanging out. I live in Chicago and William Balfour's mama is always on the news going off about her son and the case. I really want to believe that the killer has been caught. Anyone who shoots a child in the head, let alone an entire family should be buried under the jail. I just have a nagging feeling that there's more to this case than meets the eye and the police aren't pursuing every angle. Maybe I'm wrong.....

Somethin' ain't right when a water buffalo like J-Hud's sister can easily go out a get ANOTHER MAN! Somethin' ain't right with Balfour's taste in women and J-Hud sister's taste in men! But then it's simple math: thug ex-con + hot ghetto mess = major drama!! I just hope J-Hud can move beyond this horror story!

Comment: angel: I doubt very seriously he acted alone. Who drove the white truck and parked it in front of the apartment building while he was held in jail??? Also Jason wasn't a saint himself. He and William were in gang activity and drugs were involved too. This is a hit. They were all killed execution style. There is more than one possible motive other than jealousy rage. The truth will be set free. I think Chicago police are doing a poor job and just want to call out anything to close the case. They don't care, heck they have many cases like this rotting on their desks.

Comment: ss - I'm not saying he did. What I'm saying is that one person CAN kill several alone. It happens. Driving the truck was after the fact. People have been known to do something heinous and then get someone to help them cover it up afterwards. The fact that his alibi is a bunch of lies doesn't help his case. When will fools learn to say "I want a lawyer" and not start thinking they are smart enough to outsmart the police when they have no clue what the police already know. First 48 is one of my favorite shows and it shows how dumb people are.

Comment: BigMama I had a hard time believing that a black man would kill his girlfriend and then fire up the grill to get rid of the body he cut up - but he did it! Its not a stretch to think that this fool killed those people for such a trite and insignificant reason. He doesn't appear to be the brightest bulb in the box. Our little brothers are committing senseless acts of violence in our streets every day each one more horrific than the last. Who knew we'd come to this - who knew that a brother would kill the mother of his kids or a pregnant woman but its happening.

The fact that Balfour did neither means that either he is a complete sociopath or there is way more to this case than what the public is hearing or the police are not chasing every lead. I'm not going to take this on face value until I learn more.

Through watching these shows - the documentary style shows and not the fictional ones, you can see the way they investigate and the forensics of it and the background of the people doing the killing. What they say time and time again is that a stabbing is usually very personal and violent and vicious while a shooting is very hands-off and therefore easier to do, so to speak. It's easy and somewhat removed to just flick your finger and watch people fall. To get in there and start stabbing - that's the real stuff crazy/maniacal right there. Anybody can shoot a group of people particularly if they catch them off guard and they know how to use the weapon/aim. I think he very well may have done it by himself and that he could coerce the boy into going w/him because he was probably in shock from watching his grandma and uncle die right in front of him. They'll get him if he did it. If you truly understand the specifics of forensics, there is no getting away with murder - especially if you're a dill weed like this dumb azz.

I saw that episode of 48 hours that you were speaking of and if it wasn't for the little kid who survived the police would never have know the truth. The criminals on that show are so funny in how they do dumb stupid things and then they end up snitching on one another. The forensics gets them caught every time.

Comment: Yep Venus - The police thought it was some gang hit involving several attackers because there were so many people and so much blood every where. It is amazing what one human being can do especially if he gets the jump on everybody. And it amazes me how people don't think their partners in crime won't turn on them so they sit there telling some lie when their buddy has spilled the beans and the idiot is just digging a real deep hole. LOL
