Comment: I can almost bet that he will be degrading Black women on this one. After watching his last special I put him on my FU Forever list. He was so hateful about Black women and making references to what a bad First Lady a Black woman would be. Please burn his inauguration ball invite Mrs. Obama. He is so obviously bitter and angry and his past ugly is resurfacing in material with his outlook on his own race. Sure there are some wacky hairdos in our community and especially in the hood. White folks have hair issues too Chris. I worked for the top hair transplant plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills once and you'd be shocked to see how much white males pay to restore their hair (like $50k and up). It's a vanity thing, a cosmetic choice, whatever. But watch this Ahole turn it into a vast putdown of Black women. Oh the pain when the wife stops effing you and it's too costly to leave for snow white who understands yo black azz. FUF CR. Why don't you donate some of the proceeds to the Black women who are fighting cancer and have lost their hair or just take the money and stick it up where your gums don't show.

Comment: mocha, I could be wrong luv, but I don't think you're feeling Chris Rock. But, I will say he did have a anti-sista thing going on in his last standup. It just kept going and going and going. I was like, dayum Chris. What sista did you wrong like that bro taking it out on all of the sistas out there?

Comment: I was never a fan of Chris Rock to begin with. I never found him funny plus his voice is annoying to listen to. The only film I saw him was 'head of state' and that was nothing to write home about. Being that I never listen to his stand up routine, I didn't know that he was so vitrolic in his comedy about sistas as indicated by mocha. Glad I never paid him any mind.

Comment: A Michael Moore-styled expose on the Black hair industry??? Chris, as my mother used to say, "some things just need to stay in the family". Everything is NOT for public consumption. The last thing is need is to have a "Black Hair 101" conversation with my white co-workers after they see this movie.

Comment: Fedup I have to disagree. We need to know the ins and outs of this industry, because most of us do not wear our own hair, yet everyone else is profitting off of selling it to us and cutting out one of the few opportunities we have for black owned businesses. Believe it or not, there is some shady stuff going on to get the monopoly of black beauty controlled by Koreans and Indians. If we don't own anything else, we should at least own this business since so many of us use it. I didn't see Chris Rock's last special, but I do hope this doc is more about exposing the fact that we don't run the black beauty business the way we should, and not just another opportunity to bash black women. Lord knows we never get to hear much positive about ourselves anyway, the last thing we need is a black man adding to the disrespect.
