Comment: I think Derrick Handspike is a legend in his own mind. This book did NOT get more media coverage than the Presidential election, and it sure as hell didn't get as much coverage as "the trial of the century." As far as Bobby Brown is concerned, he should've known better, once he'd started this "project." As far as Whitney Houston is concerned, This is what happens when you marry a no-good low-life. Suck it up, and MOVE ON.

Comment: I don't think you guys really read the forward. The dude said Bobby backed out, and didn't officially authorize the publishing of the book. Celebs sometimes decide to talk about their lives, which are sometimes dark. It sometimes ends up helping them heal and others realize that their lives are not all that bad. But as the author said Bobby wasn't going through with it, so you can't fault him for this guy deciding to throw the friendship away and publish the book anyway. He was trying to pump himself up though, and really the forward is a turnoff to the book to me with all of that self promotion for the author.

Comment: You should have just asked Bobby for the money back. It's his story to tell when and if he ever decides to and certainly his to make money off of. No wonder hollywierd types have trust issues - folk that present true blue to them only do so to get a sellable story. Oh, and in order for your company to have 'integrity' that would have to stem from the company's creator and it lacks integrity to go against someone's wishes, especially when they hold sole ownership to the project. This article says nothing about Bobby being paid and I can't imagine there having been 100,000 pre orders cause most of us were glued to 'being bobby brown' - and we filled in the gaps with the evening or entertainment news of his arrests!

Comment: Bobby knew it would be hurtful when he wrote it, if anything, that's WHY he wrote it. This is the same book he was all on the radio promoting only months ago. He's just trying to distance himself from his dirty work to avoid a lawsuit. Bet he will be happily accepting that check. Bobby is still behind the book. The authors story of Bobby stalling on the deal and him deciding to go through with it doesn't even make sense. If he could go through with it anyway, what was he so worried about the deal for? ***bigger than OJ hahaha now that was funny. Ain't nothing in this book that everybody don't already know. It's only sad because it's bringing up old wounds, hence, more ridicule for the daughter.

Comment: What a clever way for Bobby to back out without looking like he did it for the money...just like a husband that is cheating, when he wants to cheat he comes home, slams the door and picks a fight with his wife so he can go out and do his business and blame her for it? This is oh so passive aggressive that it is elementary my dear! There are all sorts of legal remedies that Bobby could still use to prevent this book. In short, I am not buying it kids..."this is not my first time at the rodeo"...

Comment: "The book was set to be published...and Bobby and I were going to reap the benefits....This book had just about as much coverage as the infamous O.J. Simpson trial that swept the nation years prior. It got more coverage than all the newsworthy moments of that time such as the Jay Z and Beyonce wedding, Michael Jackson’s 25th year Thriller Anniversary, and more coverage than the Presidential Election...." This self-absorbed "author" has obviously overblown, in his mind, the importance of this book. It could get some attention and sales though, if for no other reason than as a study of, not Bobby but, Whitney, and how one of the world's greatest singers of the late 80's/early 90's stumbled so badly.

Comment: Dear Bobby Brown, you had a major hand in this, and you know it. This was payback for you not being able to do another Being Bobby Brown or show any other repeat's or even trying to distribute the show overseas! There is nothing in this book that can hurt me. If anything hopefully help me. You knew when you met me, that I dibbled and dabbled, and for you to state you never did until you met me, It's insane! My relationship with my Friends, ie.. Robyn was a good one. I will never have too many friends again. Instead, All I endured was Baby Mama's Drama's, I can't leave to do any movies, because your A$$ will act up! EtC. Now I'm not the most perfect person in the world, but if I can actually deal with my own craziness, and make sure all your children are cared for and your family members eating well, and taken care of then I at to say the least shouldn't have to worry about things like this. No matter how you want to portray it, I did Love you and I stood by and made sure that even though my $hit was incorrect, that you never went without. So as this book is selling, always remember! Would he also compensate the man (trash#3) for the year he spent getting the book together and he losses from lack of sail of the book?
