Comment: HEY TENACIOUS>yep! you got that right! oh i'm so happy for her! now if Liftime develops this into a movie i hope somebody picks up the Curtis Black Series, it will be great to see this as a movie. i can see Blair Underwood playing him. Congrats, Kimbrella, you definitely deserved this honor. you inspire me gurl!

Comment: well-aw-rite, I love her books and Curtis is a mess. "One in a million" was just too damn short though onger than a pamphlet, how in the heyell are they gonna turn that into a movie?

Comment: I, too, have read & loved all of her books. I thought she was ending the Curtis Black series and another one is coming out(??) As far as "One in a Million", it definitely was a quick read...

Comment: olskool4life...my book club consortium had Kimberla as a panel member for our inaugural event in 2007 and she said she would love to stop writing about Curtis Black and completely move on to other characters, but her fans won't let her. CB is a blessing and a curse all at the same time -- he brought her fame/fortune; but, also holds her back from doing a lot of other stuff. I haven't read this book, but I'm happy for her all the same.

Comment: OLDSKOOL/MZTEE>yeah, CB was really a great read. read all four books and loved them all. now it's time to bring him to life and yeah, one in a million was too short. but i'm really looking forward to see what lifetime is gonna do with this.
