Comment: as for the loan debt... Handle that! As for the Auction on the House, if that's the only way to get rid of the freeloaders, do so... quietly handle the situation once it's been sold.. Keep your credit in check! Besides, the apartment in New York, from what I've heard is real nice. Her Daughter and Her will be just fine... don't let the free loaders in ever again!

Comment: Lets not make her out to be some legit celeb. She don't have that much money, her deal is not a good one and she has to do tours because that is her only legitimate way to get funds, however she is not doing any major tours, more the chitterling circuit type. I hate the fact that she is losing her home and screwing up her credit but that is on her, she needs to pay that loan, she had to take the loan because she don't have it like that, I do agree though....get rid of the freeloaders.

Comment: I agree Mothership i don't know why she would leave her shyt hanging like that. Another thing its not a forecloser so that means she was making the mortgage payments this is about a loan taken out in 2006 or 07 to pay taxes. We don't know if she paid cash for the house or did she put no money down and that way there is no equity build up in the house. I know the house is not worth what is was when she first went into it.It's like she was just paying rent and now she is letting it go. I don't know who her financial advisors are but they sure didn't do anything to make her look good in the press

Comment: Fannie, didn't your momma teach you about "ghetto accounting". This bill is due when it's past due or just take all of the money you have and pay half of what you owe on all of your bills. I would recommend hiding your shyt before the repo man came to get

Comment: ...it but that's easy to do with a car not a house.

Comment: Attorney: 'Idol' star's NC home won't be auctioned ASSOCIATED PRESS RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — An attorney for a lending company says the auction of a million-dollar home belonging to "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino won't happen because an agreement has been reached. Charlotte-based attorney Larry Goldman said Saturday in an e-mail to The Associated Press the two sides have worked out the matter. He did not immediately respond to a request for more details. Goldman represents the Florida company that was trying to get the 2004 "American Idol" winner to repay money it loaned her in 2006 for tax payments on one of her homes in Charlotte, N.C. If the agreement hadn't been reached, the $1.1 million home would have been sold Monday by the Mecklenberg County Sheriff's Office.
