Comment: Mo, I always wondered about this Kat? I got a asinine vibe from him sometime ago...If anyone knows how to diss someone, its Angie! She didn't even speak to her own father for years because of something he said or shouldn't have said.
Interesting, I watched a tidbit of that show he sponsors for the first time last night! I couldn't believe the racism, but then again, I could! People like that deserve what they get, and I hope they get a lot more of it!

Comment: I'm not surprised that Seacrest is a jerk... though, I do find the whole red carpet thing (who dissed who, who's wearing what, best dressed, worst dressed, etc) a bit like high school on steroids.

Comment: Exmun...you are right...it is "high school"...but remember with celebrities, that's most of the existence.
It's about who's "popular" who's a part of the "in-crowd" and who gets to say who's cool.
I think "high school" is a very apt analogy.

Comment: I'm surprised by Seacrest either. He maybe trying ot get back for being made fun of back in the day or even up until today. EXMUM... the red carpet is a little over board especially when E! Entertainment do their fashion review show right after the awards with the "queens". Yuk! The only fun for the red carpet is the women anyway. Men wear basically the same suit all the time.

Comment: It may also have to do with how Seacrest talked about her not being very open to him last year, not realizing that she was distraught over her mother being very ill and about to pass...

Comment: Mo,
It's tragic that the statement is true that "it is "high school"...but remember with celebrities, that's most of the existence."

Comment: Jamer...Yes, that could be "part" of it too...as I remember in '06 also got a tepid response from her when he asked about "what she cooked her kids for breakfast."
To which she said coldly..."cereal."
Yes, I'm sure that plays into it as well. Let's just say that ignoring him was premeditated and pre-discussed with her husband. They acted in tandem and didn't miss a beat.

Comment: >MoKelly - Premeditated? I don't understand. You are saying that on the way to the show they pulled out a checklist and on it was "Ignore Ryan Seacrest"? LOL...Come on. (Of course I'm being facetious. I'm sure they didn't even think about him.

Comment: Queenie...we all have people we don't speak to...period. The fact that Seacrest was holding a microphone doesn't change that.
What I mean by "premeditated" is that if you look at the video, neither Brad nor Angelina even acknowledge him on ANY level.
It's not like they got there, he surprised them and then they decided to ignore him.
They KNEW he was there and acted like he didn't exist.
That's with forethought and malice.

Comment: Morris, i've always had that position with men i was not interested in at all or "anymore" - i just act like they don't exist - even if they are in the same room - just act like they aren't there - you don't have to cause a scene or anything like that, just act like they aren't there..........

Comment: MO, is it OK to mention your article about Sexual Chacolat who "performed" on American Idol? I didn't know that the phrase was demeaning until I read your article . . . . . watching Seacrest high-five a blind man was worth letting my sister twist my arm into watching AI last night

Comment: Yes, it's absolutely OK Harris. I was horrified.
I actually didn't plan to watch it, my TV just happened to be on Fox as I was flipping channels just after the Laker game ended. I was writing and the next thing I knew American Idol came on.
I was too through when I saw that fool.
