Comment: Every time this happens at a DC high school its on the news. Chicago isn't the only city suffering because of gang violence. Baltimore, Detroit and they only mention Cali when more than 10 folk get shot cause that's the home of the bloods and the crips (without whom the rest of us may never have laid eyes on a gang member). They don't discriminate - they make sure that we are displayed in a negative light as often as possible. Right now Chi town is the focus cause y'all are about to wipe out the whole south side.

Comment: McNasty, you right about DC and the local media covering the fights each time but remember DC in the 70s and 80s? Memba all dem fights and kids getting jumped every day after school from NE to SE to SW to NW? Memba all the teachers and principals tha got jumped themselves right in the school? Memba all the drug busts the DC police did city wide in the high schools in the 80s? The list goes on! Hardly none of that shyt was ever covered by the local media! Evah!

Comment: I never saw that drama from the dc public schools covered as much as it does today back then. Half the time I'd be wondering, No one touched these stories. Im just makin the point that when I see them covering it today I keep askin where were yall for all the dc drama in the 70s and 80s in the schools back then?! I got stories for days! LOL! Run, Joe! LOL!
