Comment: I remember Robert Brookins and had two of his albums. My fav songs by him.....besides the duet w/Stephanie Mills on "Where Is The Love" is a tune called "Come To Me"(from the first album also covered by The Isleys) and a wonderfull ballad titled "At Last"..... I dug Mr. Brookin's husky voice and songwriting skills.

Comment: I remember that video. I would like the collaboration of he and Steffanie. He had an awesome voice. He died at 46!!! Wow, that shocking...

Comment: EUR your headline says that he was 45. But in the body of the story you say he was 46, which is it.

Comment: D.a.m.n. 45 or 46, he was just a baby. Why are so many of our young Black people succumbing to an early death from heart disease? I know this can be a pre-existing condition, inherited from one or both parents, but folks we've got to learn to take better care of ourselves. So much talent gone way too soon. Rest in peace, Brother Brookins. I'm still mourning Marvin and Luther!
