Comment: In about ten days, the president has checked the credit card companies, addressed the disparity between sentencing when it comes to crack and powdered cocaine and now he is proclaiming that our heathen azzes will have one day out of 365 that we dedicate to prayer. In God We Trust- right? Prayer changes thangs. I remember during the drought in the South a couple of years ago where the minister was praying for rain and the pundits joked about it. It rained.

Comment: I pray everyday and don't need a "national day" to tell me when or how to pray. I am well aware that there are people that disagree with me and President Obama isn't just my President; he's the POTUS; I agree with his decision. Prayer is a personal thing and shouldn't be commercialized as Bush did; one hand on the Bible while one hand was telling the world "f-you". How hypocritical can these bible thumpers get? Dobson and crew are some of the worst; they were holding prayer groups outside of voting locations telling people to pray for McPalin ticket..pleeze..

Comment: Of all the presidents they listed, Bush needed the national day of prayer the most. With over 4,000 US soliders dead in Iraq during his term, he probably couldn't sleep at night.
