Hell, some of us haven't given him either and still give him grief about it. I still think that Isaiah did nothing wrong. Richards', on the other hand, was plain egregious and racist. Comment: In New York, Jews are hated by yt people almost as much as Blacks are. If I could tell you what I've overheard yt people say about Jews in New York, you would say WTF. The difference is, the Jews really, really, really want to be accepted by yt people as yt people, even though they know they are hated by them, and whom the Jews also talk about like dogs when yt folks aren't around. Yt folks tell Jews, you are pale, but you are not yt. Now, the Sephardic Jews in Egypt and surrounding areas are the niccas of the race (yes, it is a race AND a religion). However, the Ashkanazy (sp?) are of European ancestry and have fairer skin. Although, their skin is fairer, it often looks thicker than yt skin, the nose is much more prominent and they have dark hair. Thus, non-Jews of all ethnicities in New York will identify a Jew nine out of ten times. Finally, again in New York, you are more likely to see a Jewish man with a straight up WASP (who makes them wet their pants) and in some cases, Black women, whom they marry. Go figure. Kind of reminds me of Ol' Massa, visiting the female slave quarters after dark! Jews are considered Jews through their mothers, so, if a non-Jewish woman marries a Jewish man, very religious Jews do not consider the children to be Jews. It got so bad in the '80's (and probably is still going on) when Jewish men were marrying yt women, the Jewish elders wanted to change age-old laws that to IF the father is Jewish, the child is also Jewish. Finally, I no more believe that Michael Richards has changed anymore than I believe a leopard can change his spots.
