On October 17, 2008, Cornelius was arrested at his Los Angeles home on Mulholland Drive on a felony domestic violence charge. He was released on $50,000 bail the following morning. Cornelius appeared in court on November 14, 2008 and was charged with spousal abuse and dissuading a witness from filing a police report. Cornelius appeared in court again on December 4, 2008, and pleaded not guilty to spousal abuse and was banned from going anywhere near his estranged wife, Victoria Avila-Cornelius, who had filed two restraining orders against him.
^^^^^^^^^On March 19, 2009 he changed his plea to no contest and was placed on 36 months probation.[3]

Comment: Hello Cameron, thanks for your always timely reviews and reflections.
Your peice on MJ is probably one of the most well balanced articles of the tragedy that was MJ. He reminds me of the Elvis of our generation. His world filled with too much excess, did not give his mind the ability to balance btw having and not having. Kudos, you were on point with it all. I think MJ finally let go of it all, no one can sell his flesh anymore...may he R.I.P.
But your piece on JayZ banning Chris B. Well, I don't agree, Jay Z need to go sit his behind down somewhere, as if he and Beyonce rule the world, give me a break, they are entertainers like anybody else, and his need to flex his industry muscle on CB only reflected how insecure he is. Whose honor is he protecting? True CB need to get his act together, but he had a right to be in the performance or audience. Jay's masonic behind need to go pray somewhere He's sickening.
B's dress---you got it right. Everybody knows outside of her yodeling voice B has always promoted soft porn...the illumaniti couple of the year, manages to keep all kinds of wool over everybodys eyes, too bad B doesn't know how to keep enough clothes on her body.

Comment: Cam,
I get what you're saying. I wrote an essay years ago called "Undeclared Suicide", the premise of which is that while many people (in my piece it was young African-American males) don't swallow handfuls of pills or put a pistol in their mouth and pull the trigger, by the lifestyles they lead premature death comes inevitably. I'm not sure if this is the case with Michael, but I can imagine that he was weary of the world after all that he's been through.

Comment: Wow! EURWEB will allow anyone to write an article full of nonsense! Although your points are well taken, it's crazy to ASSUME Michael took his own life (that's what you're really saying). Although MJ went through a myriad of issues in life, I think he found joy in his children and I don't think he would selfishly inflict this type of pain and suffering on their lives. The man wanted to rest and i'm merely think his death was accidental. In regards to Chris Brown, I don't condone what he did to Riana; however, why would you ban his performance when you have criminals on stage such as Lil Wayne, and all those other fools who have been accused of other henious crimes? If you're going to criticize and write, please look at the entire pic. I agree with your take on Beyonce. Although she is one of the biggest female entertainers around.

Comment: C'mon Cam, you and no one else has the right to ban someone from an event. I don't know who you think Jay-Z, last I checked he has a small time drug dealer. Moveover, he's an fading entertainer, who in my humble opinion needs the exit stage left. One more thing, both Chris and Rhianna are at fault here, yet Chris is taking the lion's share of the blame. No sir, it is perhaps you who needs to go sit for a good long time. And the my .02 cents.
