Comment: National news is not even covering this because this is the 2nd time McKinney and crew have decided to pull a "political stunt" by chartering in restricted waters. It's sad that she's allowed herself to be marginalized, proving those right who've called her a loon. I hope everything turns out okay, but she really needs to get a grip. P.S. There is a Black news site that has links to all kinds of news (real news, entertainment, sports, you name it), which is where I read about this McKinney thing. EUR has mentioned it b4. Check it out if you ever want to find out interesting things the msm misses: www.reddingnewsreview.com.

Comment: Wow! I don't understand how as a person that had a congressional career and in some circles is still respected that McKinney can bypass the black issues in Atlanta to be way out in bumfukk as.sin' around in those folks bidness! AIDS rate is high in Atlanta, they've got an extreme down low problem - there's breast cancer, lupus, starving children, high unemployment rate for middle and low income. Yet all she could think to lend her support to is something that won't have an immediate benefit for - well, anyone.

Comment: Personally, I don't find her "marginalized." I think this is a "to each her own" kind of thing. Why should she focus on stateside stuff if her heart is here? And I don't believe that what she's doing in Israel is all that remote in terms of affecting our daily lives. ONe of America's biggest ally is Israel. More U.S. foreign aid flows to Israel than to any other nation in the world. It can be argued that the reason we are in Iraq right now is because of pressure to support Isreal and protect them from a then-hostile Saddam Hussein. Start to add up the huge transfer of wealth poured from America's children to Israel. And even after this they (Israel) is still pretty much blocking Gaza like White America blocked African descendants in the 20th century. In the big picture, I don't find Cynthia M. irrelevant at all. Much to the contrary.

Comment: Yes, I agree there's plenty Cynthia could be doing stateside. I personally do not think it's a good idea to expend energy on people who'd never return the favor either. Hope the Israelis do not "off" Cynthia is some mysterious fashion.

Comment: Cynthia is over there protesting on behalf of a strip while she works for a nation that has the highest unemployment rate in history.

Comment: I think you have to be familiar with McKinney's antics in Georgia to really understand why someone could say she is now "marginalized." She and her dad antagonizing the Jews TO HER OWN DETRIMENT is one example. So maybe those outside of Georgia can't fully appreicate why someone would come to that conclusion about her.

Comment: We need to clean up our own backyard, whip our kids into shape, get our educational system back on track, get a handle on the 20 something generation before everybody gets caught in a drive by, come up with goals and plans to build our own businesses and yes put in place measures so that everybody doesn't end up unemployed and learn to mind our own business. That fight isn't our fight - hell we're still fighting for something as simple as CIVIL rights.

Comment: I actually first heard about this on the National News before I heard about it on the local news. Being from Georgia and formerly in her district, I can't say I am surprised. She really makes my skin crawl, and while I don't endorse the situation, she was fully aware of the risks as this is the SECOND time this has happened. If it was indeed a public stint--and trust me, those who are from around here would not put it past her--then it has backfired big time...

Comment: TGen, I wholeheartedly agree with you. You must be down here in Georgia, too. For years Cynthia's cuckoo azz and her Dad have been Jew-hating in public. Ironic that in Georgia, she's demeaning Jews, while it is the same dyed in the wool, old yt men and women who are wrecking havoc with the lives of Black folks. To say she is marginalized is putting it mildly. She has continually put herself in a position where she has no credibility, at all. As far as her political career, it is dead in the water, BTW, when Cynthia held office here, it was in a Black neighborhood in the suburbs of Atlanta, and my intelligent friends who lived in her district despised her. (Most of her constitutients didn't even know who she was.) Cynthia was always there, according to my friends, for a photo-op, but as soon as the cameras left, so did Cynthia. If she really wanted to help, she'd be in south Atlanta, trying to help those old Black folks keep the homes that have been in their families for generations, and which are now being bought up, because of foreclosures, or just outright poverty, or not being able to meet the mortgage, or deciding whether to eat, or buy their life-saving medicines, by yt people -- not Jews, just regular old young WASPs with a lot of liquidated funds!
