Comment: Until he gets help, it is inevitable that one day he will be arrested and convicted. I'm still trying to figure out how he got away at his last trial. Good lawyers, I guess. He was caught right on tape and still walked. You would think he would be so grateful that he dodged that bullet that he would never again be in the presence of an underage girl without one, if not two, adults present at all times (just like gynecologists do when they examine women). Then he can't get accused of something he didn't do, AND he wouldn't do something he shouldn't do.

"A wildly exaggerated and inaccurate report has been circulating on the Internet that Olympia Fields police showed up at R. Kelly's house with a search warrant just before the singer left for his three-week concert tour in Africa last month and then searched the place looking for a missing 17-year-old girl.
"This is completely false. No police ever showed up at Kelly's house with a search warrant nor was his house ever searched. It is also not true, as the unsubstantiated report claimed, that any such girl ever stayed overnight in Kelly's house or that she had been there but left shortly before some mythical police search.
"Kelly's attorneys have informed the police that they will cooperate fully with any investigation."

Comment: I should have clarified. I believe the report was false this time. But he will eventually be caught doing something wrong unless he puts in measures to prevent himself from being in situations with minors again. He has a problem and needs to accept it and stop it from getting him into trouble if he can't "cure" himself.

Comment: Papasmurf I believe where there's smoke there's fire and I don't put anything past this child molester. He's got it bad - just because he was acquitted doesn't mean he's not guilty. I still remember the raid on his florida house - they carried out quite a few boxes of child porn. The search was deemed illegal and the case never went to court.

Comment: Papa, he got away with it because the girl wouldn't testify against him. I read the jury was almost 100% sure it was him on the tape but since the girl wouldn't testify that it was her or how old she was at the time, they couldn't find him guilty. Money talks, ya know.

Comment: Ya'll gotta pay attention to what was said. The police denied that "that R&B star R. Kelly is under investigation ..." They did not deny that they went to the house and questioned those at Kelly's house. Also, read between the lines of Kelly's spokesperson in their well scripted public statement. "No police ever showed up at Kelly's house WITH A SEARCH WARRANT." The statement did not say that no police showed up at the house at all. In order to get a warrant, the police have to have probable cause. They don't, however, need probable cause to go out to the house and ask those at the home questions. I believe what really happened was that police went out there and questioned either the singer or someone at the house about the whereabouts of the girl, but the police did not have enough evidence to obtain a warrant. So everybody is probably technically accurate.

Secondly, THE POLICE DENIED IT AS WELL!!!! Can we let it go until he's been convicted of the crime? If being aquitted was good enough for Michael, why is Kellz different?
