Comment: Congrats, Roland!

Comment: Roland has a good start with April Ryan and Robert Traynham! He has a way of discussing politics that even the biggest novice can understand. I wish him success.

Comment: This is great news, its about time TVOne of BET do something constructed instaed of alot of repeats. Its time to hear what a African American point of view is on the news. Get tired of CNN, MSNBC and the others with no black reporters....

Comment: My first reaction at the headline was *Sigh, the overrated Martin gets another TV deal.* lol (Hate to be mean, but that's how I feel). But in reading that he will bring in April Ryan, this show might bring something different. From what I've observed of her, she's on the keep-it-real tip, has readily questioned the White House on issues pertaining to race. She is not a go-along-to-get-along type and that is SORELY needed within the Black community, with all its groupthink, epecially as it relates to President Obama. I hope this show keeps it real and dares hold the prez accountable. If it does, it can make some waves. I probably won't be a regular viewer, not because I don't think it can be a good show, but because I don't watch TVOne often, so it will be a task to remember to tune in. We'll see...

Comment: Good place for Roland...He should OK on TVone...as long as he don't try and dance and sh1t...I know none of ya'll give a sh1t 'bout this...But ya know how I axed did anybody see the film adaption of the hit-stage play Peaches?...Well guess what?...I saw that muthfuccer on TVone last nite...I finally saw Peaches..And the it wasn't that bad...

Comment: BOOT...you trippin'. You actually thought 'Peaches' was good. The acting was so day'um bad, I couldn't watch it for longer than 10 minutes before I promptly changed the channel. I'm glad to see TVOne getting a public affairs show that will offer sociopolitical commentary and will even tolerate Roland Martin as the host. TGen...you aren't the only one who doesn't feel Roland Martin. He a'ight, but I honestly feel he's a lightweight who loves to hear himself talk.
