Michael Jackson

*Michael Jackson's lawyer Thomas Mesereau Jr. told NBC’s “Today Show” that the days of his client sharing bed space with young boys are over.

"He's not going to do that anymore," Mesereau said. “He's not going to make himself vulnerable to this anymore."

Jackson was acquitted Monday on all counts in his child molestation trial. The jury – after collectively requesting to be left alone – popped up all over the television dial since the verdict was announced, stating the young accuser, Gavin Arvizo, and his family – particularly his mama – were not credible.

Dick Gregory, one of Jackson’s vocal supporters during the trial, has released a statement praising God for the acquittal and the people who joined him in his “40-Day Fast for Truth.”

“Last November I asked people to pray for the truth to prevail when I started a 40 day fast and appealed to friends and fans around the world to join me in that prayer that the truth would come out in Michael's case,” Gregory said. “Now that we have seen Michael's vindication we should all be grateful to God."

Jackson’s homegirl Elizabeth Taylor, who has stayed curiously out of the spotlight during the trial, has suddenly surfaced to lash out at the press for “assuming he was guilty.”

"Maybe now, people will leave him alone,” the screen legend said. “The press' whole reaction is that he is guilty. I thought the law was 'innocent until proven guilty'. I know he is innocent and I hope they all eat crow."

According to Jackson’s official web site, MJJSource, the singer’s acquittal ranks up there with Nelson Mandela's release from prison, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Visitors to the Randy Jackson-run site are met with these series of significant dates in a video montage before being hit with the words: “Remember this date, for it is a part of HIStory.’
