*Actress Regina King will join the cast of Fox’s “24” this fall, and D.B. Woodside, who plays the brother of the assassinated President David Palmer, will star as a series regular – the newly elected president. King will come on board as the Palmer sister, Angela, a high-powered attorney. The sixth season of “24” starts in
January.
*Super model/TV host Tyra Banks has the key to longevity in celebrity relationships – stay out of the limelight. She says that she is determined to keep boyfriends out of the public eye because she’s terrified that fans will turn on her when they get bored of the relationship and start scrutinizing her love interest. She says that
the process of public interest and then criticism spells trouble.
“I don’t walk down the red carpets with guys. The public celebrates it for a week and then, the next month, or year, or however long you’re together, it’s just hell. Why invite people into that?” she said.
*With his latest court case behind him, Michael Jackson is facing new allegations that he’s not taking care of business. The animal sanctuary that is currently looking after his two pet tigers has complained that the King of Pop has not been paying for their upkeep.
The tigers, named Sabu and Thriller are being cared for by Tippi Hedren, star of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds,” who now runs a wildlife preserve in California. When Jackson’s Neverland zoo closed in March, Hedren agreed to take in the animals and Jackson allegedly agreed to send a monthly check for their care and services.
At presstime, Jackson’s spokeswoman, Raymone Bain, who knew nothing of the matter said, “We will look into it very carefully.”

*Apparently there is still love between Britney’s hubby, Kevin Federline and his ex, actress Shar Jackson. The two will reunite to record a duet to K. Fed’s disc. According to reports, the duo will do a remake of the 1993 Bobby Brown hit “Get Away.”
*Another reunion could be in store for music fans. The gals that brought us “Let Me Blow Your Mind” are reportedly working on another collabo. Gwen Stefani and Eve are talking about making another hit record. The 2002 track “Let Me Blow Your Mind” garnered a Grammy for both artists.
