     New York, NY -- Our World with Black Enterprise, the groundbreaking new television series for and about today's black community, will feature news, entertainment, roundtable discussions, and special interest stories about African Americans from all walks of life.

     The show debuts nationally on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, adding much-needed diversity to current television programming.

     Veteran broadcast journalist Ed Gordon will host the half-hour program that will showcase "our world from our perspective." The premiere will feature special guests Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) sharing insights on politics and domestic issues, and actress/activist Sheryl Lee Ralph in a moving panel discussion about the impact of  HIV and AIDS on the lives of black women.

     Future guests will include Rev. Al Sharpton; Civil Rights leader Jesse Jackson; former NBA player Greg Anthony; and acclaimed film director Spike Lee on his latest documentary, "When the Levees Broke," an exposé on the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
