*ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” will soon be available as a coffee table book that will chronicle the fitness regiment involved in getting celebrity couples in top ballroom dance form. According to the HarperCollins imprint behind the project, the book will also feature instructions for dance moves, healthy recipes and never-before-seen pictures and quotes from the stars and their ballroom partners. The show’s fourth season begins March 19 with boxer Laila Ali and former NBA star Clyde Drexler among the contestants.
*Folks in Santa Monica, California will no longer see ads for tonight’s season premiere of “America’s Next Top Model” on the city’s Big Blue Buses. The company that runs the line has snatched them down after a number of folks complained about the models being too scantily clad, reports Variety. "It's a matter of public taste," said Stephanie Negriff, director of transit services for the city. "We try to be sensitive to the community." The "Model" ads ran for two weeks before being pulled, however, the Big Blue Bus decided to refund the entire check paid by CW for the ads. The Tyra Banks-hosted show kicks off its 8th cycle in a two-hour premiere beginning at 8 p.m.
*Cameron Diaz has apparently moved on from actor Djimon Hounsou and is now on the arm of Tyrese Gibson. According to gossip columnist Janet Charlton, witnesses spotted the two dancing together all night Saturday at after-hours club Xenii in Hollywood. Charlton wrote in her column: “We wonder if she's hanging out with sexy black guys to get back at her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake - because he always wanted to BE a sexy black guy.”
*R&B veteran Keith Sweat’s new syndicated radio show, The Keith Sweat Hotel, made its debut on 12 stations this week via Premiere Radio Networks, among them, WMXD-Detroit, WMIB-Miami and WKUS-Norfolk. Sweat commented, “Radio is one of the reasons I wanted to be a singer, so I’ve always had an interest in that part of the business. And now, the timing is right for me to add something different to my legacy and to take a chance in sharing who I am on a more intimate level with those listeners checking into the Sweat Hotel.” The program airs Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. – midnight.
*While holding court at the Sunday’s Vanity Fair party at Mortons with Mary J. Blige, Oprah Winfrey was reportedly working overtime to try and land the first post-rehab interview with Nicole Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, reports the New York Post. Shortly after his marriage to the actress, the country star entered a treatment facility to address his alcohol demons.
