Halle Berry

     *Five years after becoming the first African American to win an Oscar for best actress, the city of Hollywood will give Halle Berry its highest honor – a star on its historic Walk of Fame.

      The ceremony will take place April 3rd with such guests as Bruce Willis, her co-star in the upcoming film “Perfect Stranger”; Hollywood’s honorary mayor Johnny Grant and the president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Leron Gubler.     

      Berry, 40, will receive Hollywood Blvd’s 2,333rd star, joining a long list of celebrities dating back to the Walk’s inception in 1958.

      Upcoming films for the actress include “Things We Lost in the Fire,” “Class Act” and “Who Is Doris Payne?”
