Jamie Foxx

*While Jamie Foxx is looking to co-executive produce a new basketball-themed comedy for TBS in the coming months, he has already carved out a space for himself in the world of satellite radio with the May 17th launch of The Foxxhole, his exclusive 24/7 comedy, music and entertainment channel on Sirius.

Foxx, who also executive produces the show, will broadcast live on The Foxxhole (Channel 106) from wherever he is in the world. The subject matter will range from Foxx “riffing through jokes, to transforming into both well-known and just-invented characters, to playing music and hanging out with a variety of cool people.”

Meanwhile, TNT Sports analyst and former NBA player Kenny Smith told Chris Yandek of TheSportsInterview.com that he is producing a new TBS sitcom with Foxx that is set in the world of basketball.

"We have been doing an interesting show about an NBA player that has to live at home. That’s the basis of it,” said Smith. “It’s a sitcom obviously. A guy living at home with his family, a young guy who just makes the NBA."
