*Rapper 50 Cent showed up to the start of his child support case in Long Island Friday in an armored SUV outfitted with a satellite dish.
The image, ironically, played into the argument by the mother of his child, Shaniqua Tompkins, who is seeking to increase the child support payments 50 pays each month for their son.
Ten-year-old Marquise currently gets $25,000 a month, but Tompkins believes the amount does not reflect 50’s income, which swelled to an estimated $33 million in the past year, according to Forbes.
The rapper is "worth tens and tens of millions of dollars," said her attorney, Raoul Felder.
The artist’s salary comes from his G-Unit record label, clothing line, ring tones and other enterprises. He has also sold more than 11 million albums and has a new CD, "Curtis," due out in September.
Brett Kimmel, a lawyer for 50, described Tompkins to the New York Daily News as "insatiable," and said "her demands keep escalating."
Closed-door hearings on the child-support case are scheduled to continue today.
